Yay! So cool to see so much enthusiasm!

So far, it looks like there'll be an LA ARGMeet/dinner/drinks/fun on saturday 21st (of March) and an SF ARGMeet/dinner/drinks/fun on saturday the 28th

Time, locations, plans and whatnot TBA, watch this space!

I'm still open to suggestions on what to see and do in either LA or SF, and if anyone feels like hanging out and/or do touristy stuff outside of the above mentioned dates, let me know! Smile (Apart from the tons of people I already spoke to ofcourse, and who offered to show me around and take me places, which is so unbelievably cool and appreciated!)

Oh, and, would anyone be interested in a couple of stroopwafels by any chance? Wink Let me know!

So I finished my first full day in LA, having a blast so far, enjoying the weather, the scenery and the company Smile

Tomorrow I'm off for a really quick visit to Las Vegas, back Friday evening, but saturday's ARGMeet is definitely still on. It would be handy if someone local would help pick a place to meet that's convenient for those in town and those coming TO town though, because frankly, I have no clue and LA is huge (no, I'm not finding that out just now, but it IS kinda overwhelming Razz )

I'm staying with Yana and she's coming along on Saturday, as long as we know where to go we'll absolutely be there! Smile

Hope to see a lot of you in a couple of days!!

OK SoCalARGers... when/where are we gonna do this thing? Smile

Being in San Diego, I would of course prefer it to be a bit further south - like Huntington Beach or so... but LA or Pasadena would be good for me too. Earlier in the day (like 5-ish) would be better too so that I won't be getting home at 2AM again Very Happy

Huntington Beach would be ideal for Yana & me too, although we might be in LA during the day anyway, so it doesn't really matter. No idea how convenient HB would be for others like Faery and Steve, or Labfly. Anyone? Smile

I think labfly is in the Santa Monica area, and I am up near Pasadena-ish (Glendale). Steve is Glendale/Burbankish, FQ is Pasadena.

My car's a POS, so I'd like to drive a shorter distance, but also can chip in for gas for anyone wanting to schlep me around a bit, too. Wink

weeee

What was that place we went to in Burbank that one time, Steve? Might be good to get tables there rather than that super-cozy booth, so it'll be easier to talk, but that was an alright place. We could also storm the IKEA and make puzzles out of Jerker desks and such. Stack up all the books and fake televisions to make qrcodes to baffle and delight the masses ...

My suggestion for someplace centrally located (for Los Angelinos, at least).

Ortega 120 in Redondo Beach

Unless someone has major issues, I'll make reservations later tonight, then? RSVP to me.

Once I get a better idea of numbers, I'll call the restaurant to see what's available. I'll shoot for between 6 and 8 pm.

So regardless of when we're sitting for dinner, going to see a movie this afternoon with the spouse and then will be heading up there - probably sometime around 3:30PM, which should have me in the area around 5:30-6:00PM. Hoping to meet up with some of y'all early and hang out pre-dinner Smile

More info on Twitter as things happen Smile
