this just might be the best resume ever presented. If I wanted to join a company that specializes in ARGs, what better way to present my skills than to create an ARG for that company to participate in?

Sorry about the blog links - it is just easier for me to consolidate my info that way... it looks like a personal game, just for me. But one never knows, maybe there are other players I am not yet aware of!

Certainly keep us up-to-date on here from time to time. Since this is only for you however this will be more of a "how did this affect Star Spider" lurk mode for me instead of actively following.

A day in the shade: Toronto 2009

(game scheduled for april)

The Game - Is an exploration into a fictious world constructed in real time and space with real characters. It is a role play game set in the modern world, and city (playing field). Players will be given artificial friendships to other players, creating a social environment similar to everyday life.
The aim of the game is to recover more points than your opponents. Game play is unsupervised. Cheating is recommended.

Play - Game play will take the course of an entire day (dawn to dusk). The length of the playing field will be a confined area of the city. A standard game should include enough characters to satisfy a desirable story. Prior to the beginning of the game there will be a catered meet and greet for all players to mingle and get to know each other.

Players - Game play will insist on players interacting with other players to fulfill personal missions, gain points and win the game.

CHARACTERS - The Next Toronto game will include Six players who will be assigned characters randomly. The following is a list of players that will be included in the 'Toronto game'

The Hunter - Scavenger hunt style mission
The Photographer - Photography based mission
The Outgoing - Stalking based mission
The Post man - Information dispersal mission
The Foil - Sabotage style mission
The Writer - Information retrieval mission
The Thief - Sabotage based mission

The Toronto game will run during a Saturday in April (2009). The Prize will be $500

Okay...i dont think his name is Wright. It's just....too easy, if you know what I mean. And the fact that the names change, he might just be making up names with W.O.W in them. Not sure Confused

Oh, and there's music behind his video. Lady Gaga - Pokerface, as far as I can tell. "You can't read my pokerface" - hmm...delves into the whole mask idea...

If you decide to go, be careful. This could be a harmless little game, or it may not be...take care of yourself.

I don't understand that question. I guess my answer would be 'no'. Like I mentioned before this is a game for Star Spider alone. for all we know this may be a very clever way to propose marriage. Why on God's green Earth would I stick my nose where it clearly does not belong?

Do i care about her safety as a fellow ARGer/uFer? Absolutely. which is what prompted me to ask her to post the final outcome or a quick note if this is takes forever to complete. But this is an ARG for her.

Would you crash a party? Would you expect someone to share their brand new jacket with you? The IG component has not reached out to us, has not friended us, has not sent us emails, etc.

Lurk away I say and of course care for the very real Star Spider. But this is something that requires or even warrants no further involvement.

My $0.02.
