Just struck me as odd, considering the newly coded entries. There does not seem to be a profile attached to the name, and it looks like they started following yesterday.

Tried using the same cipher on different sections of text in the blog. Nothing came up obviously.

Someone had posted earlier that Adam's first post was still intact after all the text of the others had been replaced with gibberish, but it looks like this has been corrected.

Just noticed on the blog...it looks like all the text has been scrambled randomly except for Adam's name, it's the same everywhere: 13247-5.

Is there anything important about those numbers??

Holy jumping Jehosephat! I check unfiction this morning, nothing. I come home, and there's two and a half pages! I guess that's what I get for "having a job" and "going to work".

Interesting stuff. I sent Adam an email last night too, but I played the "hey, here's a thought for your experiments this weekend, oh by the way your blog went all plooey" angle. I haven't heard back from him, not even the reply others have gotten.

So, operating under the assumption that Adam is the Vessel, Franklin is the Artifact, and we all are the Manipulated Living, where does that leave us? Seems to me (and it might just be me) the main question is "What happened to cause the Tangent Universe?", which will simultaneously answer "What needs to be done to fix things?". Figuring out what exactly Franklin is and where it comes from would probably help a lot, but if we've lost contact with Adam I don't know how we're going to be able to pursue that any farther.

Personally, I'm not completely convinced that the 13247-5 sequence has any significance. Looking at the blog, things like entry titles are consistent between the main entry and the sidebar list. "13247-5" might show up a lot simply because "Adam" was there a lot before. Of course, that might also mean that there is some fantastically complex replacement cipher in place ... It also seems strange that only text Adam typed in is scrambled; built-in things on the blog template (entry dates, the "comments" links, etc) are all still in English. Would the text of the blog be stored on a central server somewhere, or would it be stored locally on Adam's computer?

Found something new (to me, at least) on the http://wirebcze.50webs.com/ site. Underneath the image is says "the tangent universe is real ". But two lines below that, in white text, it says "follow the trail, down the hole"; found this when checking the source code again. Was this there before? Doesn't seem to be a clue so much as a confirmation of ARG-ness, but still ...
