i'm with you guys. truly i am. i just see no evidence that this thing is moving forward anytime soon. reality has to set in at some point.

what game organizer allows a ground-swell of interest to dwindle and wither before making a move to re-spark the fire?

if we are truly "missing something", why would the designers risk letting the game die before offering a more obvious clue, nudge in the right direction?

this is not happening. at all.

the other thing that is not happening is the PMs calling it "over". if the game is over, it would be nice to have a confirmation to tie up loose ends/ put this to rest.

fact is, it might be time for one of the designers to make a bold move to save TIMM, if there is anything left to save. or let us know why the effort failed...

Man, I'm going to be really disappointed if this is dead. I caught this early on and tried to help as best I could until school became a priority... (I couldn't do much, to be honest, but it was my first ARG so I'm new to this). :[ To see it die like this is a bit of a turn off.
Sigh.

OK, judging from the other posts, here's what I think happened. We were a little slow in finding "uh-oh." They planned for stuff to happen Friday, Feb. 13. By crazy random happenstance, March had a Friday the 13th as well, so they just extended it out another month. Yes, it would be really awesome if they talked more than just the occasional Chuck tweet. Maybe Mars or Lipps could send out more messages, or something. But I think we caught them a little unprepared, and hopefully they've used this downtime to plan ahead a bit farther. We're dealing with some very clever people with some very good ideas. This is worth 10 minutes out of my day to check, and when puzzles come out, I try along with everyone else. I think someone will get a message, somehow, on the 13th.

On the upside, I found Cool Dog glasses at a market in Seoul. As soon as I find a Welsh Corgi, I'm taking pictures.

A further thought on why the PMs may not be throwing us anything to work with right now -- for those of you who read and remember the OOG post made on the TIMM facebook group . . .

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
They told us at that time that they'd put together a lot of content for TIMM and that if TIMM went viral, they hoped their bosses would let them use some of the extra content they'd come up with. It could be that, because TIMM hasn't made it big, we're sitting in a lull where they have "extra content" they're not being allowed to use.

Or it could be that this is all a viral campaign for BRATZ dolls, and ever since they lost the lawsuit brought by Mattell, the funding for TIMM has fallen away. Very Happy

If the CDF had been a golden BRATZ doll, we'd have been telling you to smash it long before it ever came to debate.

Wait. Is that a joke? Or is there any serious evidence that this is a bratz thing?

Please say that's a joke.

Have you seen the way the businesswomen are dressed? There's no way it's a Bratz campaign. Razz

At least we're getting regular Chuck updates (upChuckdates?) on Twitter, so the game is clearly not dead in the mind of the PMs. With the recent "bad luck" theme, I think we're in for something this friday the 13th.

I hope it's not true that some stuffed suit somewhere is witholding content because TIMM isn't popular enough. New content and regular updates are the lifeblood of an ARG, and to think someone is deliberately stifling the game until it gets 100 more YouTube views or 10 more Diggs is just insane. TIMM is the funniest and quirkiest ARG in history, and it shouldn't die because some MarketingBot says some random numerical quota wasn't met.

i hope you're right. if not, i think it might be time to give up on this thing. We've had nearly nothing since the Central Park event. And im not just saying that to get attention like others on this forum tried to do. We need to send a message that just jerking us around is no way to play a game.
