All of Chuck's recent tweets seem to be indicating that we should open it but I'm hesitant to destroy it in case we're wrong and simply because it would be a shame to mess up a such a nifty keepsake. I looked it up (as others did) and the ones you can buy online always seem to have a black base. What is the base made of? Can it be pried open or would it have to be smashed to pieces like stone?

The Fund has been reassembled. (Sorry for the blurriness, I need to recharge the battery on my digital camera, this was taken on my phone.)

The base is made of white stone -- it's a standard trophy base.

I guess we'll see what happens!

You know, I've been thinking about it a lot, and though I initially voted to smash the CDF, I'm having second thoughts now.

First of all, Chuck implied that there are three possible paths. If these paths are directly related to the CDF, then as we've realized the options would be;

1)Keep it in pieces
2)Fix it (the current state)
3)Destroy it

Since finding the Uh-Oh got things moving and got us all excited, we all assumed that Chuck's implications meant we should destroy it further. But as those of us who were there will recall, Joey very specifically passed on thew CDF in order to keep it safe, stating that Mike Russo didn't trust him with it.

So who do we trust more? Chuck, or Joey? In the end, that might be the real deciding factor.

Well, it seems that misfortune is still befalling Milwaukee residents (though Chuck's latest twitter was before the pic of the reassembly of the CDF). I think if looking at MM's Diary or ARH in a different way like some people are trying hasn't yielded anything (or doesn't soon), it may be time to smash it.

Or his twitter may be him saying that "Wait it out! Chuck will show us the way!" isn't going to happen. Razz

I know I already put in my vote/2 cents, but really think Chuck is suggesting we smash it...or at least see what's inside. He said he smashed a mirror and a cinderblock, he said he was going to solve the matter, but he can't cause there's something INSIDE HIS HAT, I really think this adds up to wringing that turkey's neck.

and he was also out 2 artifacts as a result of this, while Relia would be out only one...softening the pain I suppose, haha. I've been back and forth about this because it would really suck to break it and nothing happen or be in there, but thats some damn good logic right there. But it still doesn't look like someone opened the turkey previous to this. I say we all chip in to buy Relia a replacement turkey that she can just stick the Champion Dynasty Fund plate back on and smash that fucker

If we were supposed to destroy it, wouldn't it say "Wahoo!" or something when dismantled, rather than an ominous, understated, "Uh oh?" I think the tweets and FB updates are pretty clear..."Uh oh."
Anyway, I am happy that it is back together!

If it was made in China, and there aren't any holes in it, how would anything get inside?

Logic says don't smash it. Finding the uh-oh could be a trigger, and it might be needed later.

Remember when adding the results for smash/don't smash to count both don't smash options as one. Razz

Well, if something "bad" needs to happen to make this move forward (For all we know, breaking the CDF wakes up G.o.D.S.E.E.D. and we've already made it more active just by disassembling it, but we may need to do so to start more events in the game), it wouldn't make sense to have it say "Wahoo!" even though it was what we were supposed to do to progress.

Though now, as I type this, a combination of his twitters makes me wonder if the 3 tables, looked at in a mirror/reversed, would reveal anything, either through the tables being backwards or some kind of code in the table names when spelled backwards. Unfortunately, I'm terrible with decrypting, but I'll take a peek anyways.

I don't suppose the Morse Code diary entry, looked at in a mirror before decoding, would happen to still make sense and/or make something that looks like it could be a coded message?

It's probably for the best to leave it alone. Goose with the golden eggs and all.

You got yer 'aw fuk it' and yer 'really I wouldn't mind having this among my brick-a-brack for a few years'.

While *I* would happily smash the thing, I reckon Relia would like to keep it as a curiosity. But then--I'd keep the smashed bits as brick-a-brack myself.

Something inside the thing seems well outside likelihood, though. Really it depends on how the most enjoyment might be derived from the turkey.

Instead of smashing, generally one carves a turkey...

But I also don't think we're going to find anything inside. And we certainly can't eat this one.

but doing nothing hasn't led to anything. it was only after the statue was cracked and "uh-oh" was found that things started picking up, ie. Chuck twittered again, Facebook statuses were changed, ect.
