Well, I don't know why, but I did get the idea that the guy at the subwat station might actually be Bae. I tried tallying his appearance with his given discription in TST, and found that quite a lot of elements match. And as for the photo, its possible that they just wanted to give Bae's appearance for staters in that card.

What do you think?

that is problably who that is.

Back in early May, janus44 claimed that the guy on the Samurai Saladin card was William McIntyre. I didn't know where he got that, and never asked.
However... I just replayed mission 0, and noticed that Scholastic changed it up. All of the "find the hidden link" puzzles are gone, and the Samurai Saladin man is indeed William McIntyre. I just wanted to point this out to anyone who hasn't re-played mission 0 since Scholastic changed it.

My remaining dilemma is "When was William McIntyre in the subway during The Sword Thief?" I'll have to pay better attention to that when I re-read it.

Don't get mad with me because this thread hasn't been posted to in a long time, but I was thinking that William McIntyre is probably Allistair Oh too. Laughing
That could be, but Bae was surprised when Allistair's voice came over the p.a. system.
Edited to increase clarity and reduce juvenility.

It might be worth noting that Allistair and William were both in the same room when Grace's will was read.

William being a white guy and Allistair being Korean might also have been a teeny, tiny, little clue.

Everyone is welcome, we just had a problem with a member or two who spazzed out a bit. Basically, write and spell as best you can and you're fine. Most of the folks here are adults, though there are plenty of youth as well. For the truly young I'd suggest the official Scholastic 39 Clues forum.

If you need any help with anything, look for the best thread to ask it in, and go to town. Happy to have another agent in the hunt and I hope we get to see more of you.

Feel free to discuss Book 3, but if you haven't read the book, beware of spoilers.

If you have questions about the book, new insight, or simply want to explain why there is a picture of a guy on the Samurai Saladin page, and not a picture of a cat, go ahead. Please keep Spoiler information out of the main thread.

I haven't read the book, but I am very interested to read it. Especially all about sword, it makes me interested to read. Just beware of spoilers???

Meaning that we talk about what happens in the book in this thread and it might spoil some parts for you. That's why you'll see warnings like that or hear someone say "spoiler alert". They're just giving you a heads-up so you don't get anything before you want it.
