It doesn't ROT to anything, but it is an interesting little bit of info. Just throwing my hat in the ring. Also Atlas had a Irish voice, Liscannor is an Irish province.

Edit: Does anyone remember the name of Atlas's supposed kid? I think it was Moira or something similar. The kidnapped kid was named 'Maura'. Once again just throwing all to the wall and seeing what sticks.

Also, the timeline seems odd. All of J. Lynch's letters were written in March.

Here are some random dots to connect. I looked up J lynch i got a wiki hit Jack Lynch no big deal. . . until you see he is irish. . . not only that but a politician funny i seem to remember politics playing a role in bioshock. Not only that he has links to other wikis such as Jame Ryan and Eamon de Valera both names that this thread know and now connect to Bioshock. I'm scanning the pages now. Here are the links

Im not to good at breaking codes but I can get the info and related facts so feel free to double back over my findings. Oh and Im running the names in the tidbits from the site I got.
The boy's name Eamon \e(a)-mon\ is pronounced EE-mon, AY-mon. It is of Irish, Gaelic and Old English origin, and its meaning is "wealthy protector".
The lil girl maybe a lil sister who produces adam would make him wealthy by Rapture standards. Oh and the girls name
The girl's name Maura \ma(u)-ra\ is of Irish origin. Variant of Mary (Latin) "star of the sea".

Maura has 3 variant forms: Moira, Mora and Morah.
which eludes to the red lights in the sea cause stars are known to have a phase known as red star. This could be a foreshadowing to the impending implosion of rapture or what ever is beneath the sea or the girl herself.

so far none of the other names have shown up anything worthwhile.

quite interesting stuff, however the J. lynch stands for Jeremiah Lynch. His full name is given in the article on the right side on the trailhead website. He even served during the exact time that the events took place, so its probably either a coincidence or the makers used his name for inspiration. Wikipedia sites are not generally in game, though they may provide info on a person in a game, the info would have to be factual and since these games are fictional they are not generally a part of them. Reason being the page would get edited or deleted by the people who maintain the site and actually get quite offended by someone using wikipedia for these purposes.

Everything seems to paint the picture of a Big Daddy as the kidnapper, but it seems something has changed...now they're thin. The 3rd update mentions this. The doll could also somewhat illustrate this. So why would they be thinner now? Maybe I'm misreading something...?

Also, there is an X with the date 3/15. Its looks like it is approximately over London. Maybe some event will come up soon? I dont live anywhere near London, but it would be fun if something interesting happened.

the Xs and events match up perfectly with the ones seen here http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/260890/map.swf . I dont think there will be an event or something happening on those dates since there hasnt been yet with the other two updates. Right now we are just getting viral updates and it appears we will get 14 more between now and the game comming out. Hopefully its more than just that. One thing to mention as well in the map with all of the Xs there is one x in the middle of the atlantic without a date on it.

Has anybody picked through the static yet? There's at least one man's voice, a two-tone chime, what sounds like waves and the clanging of pots/pans (repeatedly).
