New here, just signed up because of this thread. Some of the stuff everyone here has found out is pretty nifty, I must say. I'm going to try sending out a letter later on to the address, maybe I'll get lucky.

Unfortunately I don't have anything new or exciting to add to the discussion, but hopefully I can change that eventually.

Something has been bugging me though. The "Behold, Utropolis!" article.. if anyone has the Bioshock artbooks, you probably had on of those "Oh, how clever!" moments.. The original designs for the Little Sisters were all over the place, but one of them was a chipmunk-looking creature. I know someone else made the connection already like 6 pages back, but not to the original designs as far as I saw...

The rhythmic clicking sounds like a clock to me.. but if you look at the answering machine, it clicks in time with the light flashing.

I probably am late on posting this but i just finished the article from the sci-fi mag on the table by the door. It is probably just reminding the players of the game the seting in which the last one took place and i'm beginning to think if quinn is a pen name that jack used to write an article after he came back from rapture. it would make sense. He just returned from a place that had technology far beyond his time and all he did was change the names of things. the patri-arkh being a big daddy, the chipmunk creature being a little sister, and the juicer being a splicer. Quinn of course would have been jack. The only thing missing is Atlas. so if this becomes of help (which i doubt highly) i'm glad to have contributed.

I don't think anyone else noticed this as far as my reading goes, but the memo, which has Mark's P.O. Box, next to the picture is gone. Perhaps they received our letters.

Hopefully! I've been rushing to get my mail every day in hopes of receiving a lunch-box or something. Razz

Chipmunks

It's written from the POV of a normal human. The little sisters are represented as chipmunks, here. I see no reason why, if the main character was a little sister at one point, it would not be mentioned in some form in the first chapter or so.

IIRC, one of the original art concepts for the gatherers were chipmunk-like things...

According to Game Informer the little sisters are supposed to look much less spawn of satan-ish.

that rock

Those rocks are bothering me...
I can't stop staring at it, hoping something will show.
Idk if my mind is playing games, but the top rock looks like something cut a deep gash into it, same with the bottom left rock.

I'm listening to the recordings and Inman sounds alot like Ryan...
I guess thats just me?

Where did you get that? As far as I can tell, 1968 takes place after 1960.

We've already confirmed the photo is just a stock photo to add to the Atlantis guy's claim. There's most likely nothing there.
