I'm pretty sure we'll see an article about her dissappearing.

I'm pretty sure it contains about as much vital information as one of the letters on the wall. It think that it is highly likely it is just a story there to show a connection and a reference to the Big Daddy and Little Sister relationship.

Edit: Reread the letter. The second to last paragraph is probably implying that Mark's son is now a Little Sister, singing and being protected by a Big Daddy. It's a mirror of the relationship shown by the father and daughter which sparked his curiosity.

Also, has anyone noticed that you can click any of the articles under the topmost pictures on the bulletin board? I didn't notice this until a few minutes ago and hadn't seen any reference of it.

I am aware. I was never aware you could click articles behind the top article, though. I was wondering if it was always this way.

they have been like that. i've been going over them since i got into this game. they haven't added anything to it in a while, and i think it's like an archive of these disappearances.

they may add more down the road, but it looks like they have moved on to other points of focus..

The Lunchbox

Has anyone gotten into the lunchbox yet cuz I was reading that note where he talks about its' contents and at the top of it there is a code. i can only assume that it is the key, but each time that I try it it doesn't work so my main questions are:

Is it the right code?

Am i putting in the right code and missing the step that actually opens the box?

Is the lunchbox supposed to remain locked, no matter what you try?

I wholeheartedly thank you for any help that you can give me.

Seems Meltzer has encountered a little sister and a Big Daddy in the city without even knowing it.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Could this be the Big Daddy we play as or could it be that we find out what the Big Daddy looks like under the suit?

I don't think he did, considering the Big Daddy's are massively bulked up, have their skin steam pressed to the inside of their suits, and have vocal cords mutilated. I think if the guy looked odd he would have noted it, unless I misread. Also, why would a visibly deformed Big Daddy and a demonic looking girl be running around New York when their mission is getting the little girls back to Rapture?
um also think about the big daddy getting into the bathysphere (if that is still the primary form of surface travel) not going to happen.

I'm sorry to burst your bubble and sound like a total d bag but we have already covered that. if you want to still open the lunch box for yourself, the combo (from left dial to right dial) is 9 turns counter clock wise for the first dial, 5 turns counter clockwise for the middle, and 9 clockwise for the right dial

Something in the sea
Lunchbox

Thanks so much, and u didn't sound like a d bag, just another bioshockee, i would've said the same. In hindsight i should've checked out the previous pages but i was being impatient, but now i have what i need and can finally get it off of my mind. Now everything is coming together, and the site just got a whole lot better. Thank you!!!

B.T.W.: Does it feel like every time you go to the site you discover something new, (whether it be a connection, a minute detail, or even something that you missed before ), even if nothings been added?

Cuz thats how it is with me, well im off to scan the internet for anything Bioshock related... c yas.

Letter?

Hi!
Im new on this forum, but I've been checking it out for a while but only just got around to making an account.
Im really interested by some of the ideas that you guys have come up with as I never would have thought about half of them by myself!!

I just wondered if anyone has sent any letters off in reply to the letter that Meltzer wrote, the most recent one in which he asks for more information?
I did on monday, and im hoping that something will come of it!
Im still waiting for something back as I live in England and the address is in England.

Btw, sorry if im posting this in the wrong place or anything like that, its just i was having some difficulty in working out how to post things, if i've done it wrong could someone please tell me how to do it!

Mod Edit: Merged to the right thread -ndemeter
