"Your masters tempel has fallen" is he reffering to his apartment?

Edit:
His apartment was in lower manhattan. South West of lower manhattan is the hudson and the statue of liberty. Lady liberty might be the red queen?

If so her crown with its 7 rays could be the 7 folded key?

Edit: The looking glass may be reffering to the windows in the crown etc.

Edit: The statue of liberty was built in 1886, so the patina might not have been as green in 1958, the cuppers red color might still have been there hence the red queen.

And to run the red queen's race means going nowhere so her crown jewels are with her. Maybe there is a super secret entrance to Rapture or at least a Bathysphere bay INSIDE the statue of liberty?

Recording from box

Has anybody noticed that the voice on the recording in the box sounds like Sander Cohen?

here's some info on some of the "red Queen" and "her race" mentioned in the message in the box. It's an obvious allegory to Through the Looking Glass, the sequel book to Alice in Wonderland, also to an Issac Asimov novel.

makes things THAT more interesting...

The word most of you have failed to make out is "Muhheakantuck." It is the Native American word for the Hudson River, New York.

Either I misheard or who the heck is Makis? Either way it's exciting that Mark might be close to finding Rapture!

Saw this misquote on another bioshock forum, as well. The word is 'magus', i.e. a magician.

The word magus also means someone who can read the stars. I think that the solution to the riddle that Lutwidge left had to do with a constellation visible from the State of Liberty's observation windows. This would explain the "follow the twinkling of gems" riddle as well as "they wait beyond the looking glass"

Additionally the earlier clue of the "3 fold key with the 7 fold lock" may point to a constellation like Orion, the belt has three stars in it, while the complete constellation has seven in total.

Getting into Rapture

Replaying the game, there was a comment from Sullivan on the locks to the Bathysphere:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The locks were unreliable, allowing relatively close relations through, potentially -- children, nephews, cousins, etc.

Additionally, the smugglers weren't going through the *FRONT* door, having their own submarine bay. Likewise, Big Sister and the rest have had a decade to modify / repair / break things.

Just going over the new stuff that popped out over the weekend since I was out of town and I noticed something no one mentioned. Not sure if it's relevant to anything, but on the recording from Lutwidge there is a notation that says:

Quote:
#0 = le Fon

I wouldn't have thought anything of it but it's directly under the title and date and it's handwritten so my gut instinct is that it has some meaning.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
"le Fon" means "the fundamental" in French.

New message by Celeste Roget. She seems to blame the deaths of her fellow climbers on Letwidge.
