Back to the topic at hand, I hope Rapture isn't the "X" in the middle...it'd be too easy, y'know? It makes sense, but I want something that's actually surprising.

Actually, I would like to retract my earlier guess--not because I think it's wrong, but because it would mean that Rapture has actually moved since the last game:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
That's the location of the coordinates where Jack brought down the plane in the first game, and where he found the entrance.

If they've made such an obvious continuity hiccup, I'm going to cry. Sad

edited to make a long url smaller so as not to stretch out the forum and added tinyurl for direct link. ~drizjr

Xeno,
Wow, no there are plenty of ways to express a negative opinion about an idea without being offensive. For example, if you would have stopped being so hard headed long enough to read my message more carefully and think about the implications of what I said (or in this case didn't say) you would have noticed that I didn't take any issue with you using the word 'stupid.' Even though I guess one could possibly make the argument (and I say 'could' because I assume that you weren't and I must on some level be misinterpreting what you said because I believe that you are smarter than that) at least in some context the usage of any word to describe something in a negative light as being offensive to someone somewhere, I would hope that you would intelligent enough to realize reasonability must be a factor. Obviously, some things are offensive enough (and accepted by society as offensive enough) that we choose not to repeat them for the sake of respecting others and the feelings and connotations those words (or more precisely adjectives) have. Nonetheless, if we are reasonable and at least semi-rational/semi-intelligent beings then it should be easy for us to see that this does not, in any way shape or form, mean that we cannot show our dislike or distaste for one or another thing in a polite and reasonably non-offensive way (in other words, not using words like 'gay,' 'retarded,' 'jiped,' etc...). Let's make an attempt at acting like the adults we are Xeno...

I don't appreciate the demeaning tone you took there at the end sir. Regardless, we were done with that conversation. Let's not beat a dead horse, shall we? Back to BioShock.

So I'm not sure if this has been said yet, and I'm going to spoiler it since it's my first post and I don't know whether this constitutes one and would rather be safe than sorry, but...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The skinny monster with the one glowing red eye has to be Big Sister coming to steal little girls away to be the new Little Sisters in Rapture. I'm inclined to say that the red lights moving through the sea are also her, but moving at 30 knots? Shocked Shocked Shocked

(Not sure how far behind I am)

Bringing back the idea of this being an ARG, the site has updated and now you are in the main character's room and the map is on the wall. It would appear that this man has lost his own daughter to the big sister.

There's something new today. It appears to be a lockbox with some sort of code, though I'm not sure if there are any clues as to cracking it.

Just sent a letter to the PO box giving a detailed description of Rapture's history and location. I asked him to send me anything he had found and I would try to help. Dated the letter May 30th, 1968. Hah.
