It was moved into first half 2010, but I'd suggest a March/April date

I'd like to get a bottle but I'd need to know how much they'd cost beforehand, and wherever you're shipping them from so I'd know how much it cost to ship all the way to Canada!

He seems to have taken down all the old fan letters and put new ones up, but that might not be new. He finally has the name Andrew Ryan too! Seems like he's doing a lot of research on him.

He's also got a paper on Tenenbaum too. Hopefully this will last a lot longer and the second row of files will be filled in too.

I understand, no one is obligated to get one I just need a head count so I can figure up the price. The price of the bottles, for instance, would be divided amongst those that wanted one. That was why I asked for people to let me know, not to commit them to anything but so I could come up with a cost estimate. I'll give it another day or two but so far I only have had around 5 people express interest...

This might be a captain obvious post, but the article is about Bill McDonagh! Another puzzle piece is in place.

Sorry guys and gals, I wont be making any bottles. I posted over at 2K Forums offering to make bottles for their members too hoping to get more people and lower the cost to produce the bottles. While I was there I was pointed to a few posts by 2K staff saying it was illegal to reproduce their images and what not and I have no desire to break the law or take away from 2K and the awesomeness that is SITS.

Sorry again folks, best of intentions and what not...

Anyways...wonder when or if Mark is going to mention what he found...

From the way it has all played out no one in particular left it for Mark to find, the bottles were just "flotsam and jetsam" that washed ashore from Rapture. Like when a ship sinks and stuff washes ashore, that type of thing. As to how they got out of Rapture to get carried out to sea, I have no idea... Shocked

i just figured that becuase the coordinates led him there and the bottle was there it wasnt just a coincident. but i guess that they needed a reason for mark to go there. but that just seems weird becuase didnt a big sister leave the jewlery box, so its almost as if a big sister or little sister is leading him on.

Tons of Fun

Wow - I'm the 1000th post. Wild.

Just got involved with SiTS over the last two weeks, and only two days ago began reading this forum. What a wonderful bunch of brilliant brilliant kooks you all are, I know I'll fit right in!

Congrats to all that have received swag, I hope that my letter sent in last week will yield some for me!

Just wanted to say 'hi,' and thanks for the effort on the bottles Robbie! that was quite excellent of you to try!

No problem, I didn't really do much beyond track down bottle retailers and talk with 2K staff. I will say they were really cool about it and that Mark isn't done quite yet. I'm not trying to imply I have any insider info, I don't, I had just asked a couple of questions and was told I would have to wait until the game was over before they could answer them... Wink

Well done sir! Great way to get unofficial insider info! Very Michael Westen of you. Being a neewbie, I honestly assumed the additional unlabeled files in the cabinet would be gradually filled up. The only release date I've seen is "early 2010" so I hope we can play along at least that long - the puzzles were fun to figure out on my own, but it will be fun to tackle the next few with the group.

 Update!

There's a paper with Meltzer's note's on Andrew Ryan (which also has a pic of the bottles at Jones beach) and an empty folder near the filing cabinet and a letter by the record player.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The letter by the record player practically proves that OOL didn't know about Rapture when he started his partnership with Ryan

Best Buy and GameStop are both claiming a release date of January 4th. Anybody hear of anything like this?
