[INTERACTION] Mars Madison - Needs Friends on Facebook!
Post any info about or interactions with Mars here!

As this game gets more and more complex, we're needing more and more threads to separate out the relevant information.

Please post all info about and interactions with Mars Madison here, so we can follow where her story (unfolding through Facebook) goes...

Anything prior to the date this thread was started can probably be found in the Communication from & with Milwaukee Residents thread.

Thanks!

I wonder how many friends she will need to get something going....Maybe we should aim for 150?

She's at 130 and has been talking a *little*, but I think we need to aim high here. She has started posting little tidbits, but hasn't really been responding to questions.

From my conversation with Mike she's trying to build her own little tribe so she feels like someone in Milwaukee will get her back when she needs it.

The link to her Facebook profile is: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1578266489

Please ask people to add her as a friend, and if you haven't yet, do it! Or if you're not comfortable with strangers seeing your info, create an ARG profile and add her. Smile

Asked her via e-mail and by messaging on facebook, but got no reply. I assume, as far as this portion of the game goes, that we're still just in the "attract players" phase, and will start to hear more from Mars, Leroux et al. in the near future.

Yeah... I got an initial email (in which she said "i wish i could tell you more, and i'm happy to have had a few people become friends with me recently, but i'll need a lot more coaxing before i'll really feel comfortable opening up. sorry, but i hope you understand Smile") but no response to my follow-up asking about the new stuff.

So she could be a rebel? Why would you need so many people to watch your back if you were not in trouble (or expecting to be). She is a "freelancer".

The full post about my call is here but here's the highlight:

Quote:
In Milwaukee, people don't feel that comfortable unless they can venture out in groups and feel protected - we do live in crazy times, after all. So everyone kind of likes to find or form their own group and stick within that alliance. For example, the Treasure Hunters look after each other, the Rebels do (even though they sometimes fight among themselves), and even Blackstar employees do, though they have factions within the company. So Mars probably just wants one of her own, and needs enough friends to feel like there's something substantial there.

I was wondering about the most recent posts she made in the "Young Professionals" Facebook group, so I asked if she'd try to ally herself with Blackstar, and he said no - she was a freelancer, and she certainly would have had offers from Blackstar, the MTC AND FeBrizzio's, and still was a freelancer so she must have turned them down. Plus she could have gotten a much larger salary from Blackstar.

Mars is staying indoors until she's worked a few things out.

New Status on Facebook.

Quick search of YouTube for Milwaukee Today! reveals nada. Maybe worth asking Mars where it can be seen?

Seems like Chuck is friends with Mars now. Still OOG?

Edit: Well, I swear he was for half a second. He wrote on her wall.

Cool. So...

137 friends - a few posts on a Facebook group.
229 friends - changing personal info, public interaction with characters

We are in your tribe, Mars! Even if only virtually...
