@Tres: I'm blown away by that compliment as I've just begun reading the caring stories myself. Many, especially yours, point up how shifting one's focus or daily routine just a tad can have a positive impact on someone's life, including our own.

Award Winners Not sure if this means anything, but I was looking at the stories and noticed that Tresbien, Amandel and myself are all "award winners." Coincidentally, we are also the only 3 from this forum that have stories posted...
Hmm... Someone else from the forum should try posting and see what happens - if they win an award, maybe it is meaningful?

Actually there are a bunch more--they're just not posted under uF handles. Mine's under Sophia Rose. (Didn't realize it was going to be posted, so it's not terribly insightful.)
Don't know that there's much significance other than the "Wow, way to care!" factor.

Yeah, I sent one in as well and it has been posted on the site. No awards. No matter, the one that I sent was sent too the wrong person anyway.

Re: New Message from Ms. Blackbourne Any thoughts on how long 5 years is in the "real world?" Knowing this will give us our timeline. I'm not sure what the next task is - I'll stay posted to find out![/quote]

Caring Thoughts for Hannah http://rubysbequest.org/story.aspx?sid=101 So our friend Hannah is back in the hospital and needs some help. I made one practical suggestion on her facebook page and expect all y'all will have some good ideas as well as letting her know we care how she's feeling.

Are there any ideas of why we were given a score of -17? What are we being marked on?

I think that's really great that people are interested in the RL future of caring. As a nursing assistant, I believe that it will become extremely important in the future...

The latest post, Wrong Direction, by ettacrossroad on the Deep Into Deepwell blog is very disturbing as it says the caring index has moved further into negative numbers. Seems like we need to make a greater effort to begin to turn things around.

maybe we could have someone contact Ms Blackburn and see why the index is going down instead of up?
