French Guiana is in South-America. It is part of the EU, though.
Maybe in 2018 the USA has decided that independence wasn't such a great idea after all and it wants to be a European colony again..? In return the EU makes all its government announcements in US English, even though people still write '10 scharreleieren' on a box of eggs.

Its not a clue i'm afraid, in the netherlands these are the most common eggs. You actually have to find pretty hard to find non biological eggs.
