I'll vouch for that. The Wikibruce article gets hit with waves of traffic periodically. It's one of, if not the most active page for traffic, and people keep posting comments discovering "new" stuff. It's when someone "discovers" WITB and posts it to places like reddit, or SHH, or ohnotheydidnt - huge traffic sites - that it gets slammed with traffic.

Yeah, as long as there are people out there haven't heard of it, or become new fans of something it refers to, it's gonna keep coming back to haunt Razz brilliant piece of work, Tim.

Wasn't hostile at all, in my opinion. No threats were made or anything. Just the whole 'don't want to read over 9000 posts' thing kinda bothers me (as I'm sure it would others.) when you post over-regurgitated information. Was just saying if you had read even a bit of it, you would have seen that.

As for why I'm still here - The site is still up - the movie isn't out for the public yet, there's the assumption that something new may pop up at some time. Never said it was 'over', it was just said that there's nothing new as of yet.

New Video - Daybroke - Hey Girl

There are two references to WitB in this video:

YouTube: Link

.The first one is a poster with a square and a questionmark inside at 1:44 and the second is a text which appears for a frame at 3:27. I added this frame as an attachment.

It think it means "BABEL-RESEARCH.EU/{1/3}/{2/3}/{3/3} HTL"
(btw: it's easier to read the text if you use unsharp mask ;D )

The video description says:
"Find the right time in
order to find more Box."

The sounds at the very beginning remind me of the sounds in the first WITB video. May not be them, though.

The poster has "1:43" under the box.

Starting at 2:58ish, there's a 'halo' of stuff (metal?) forming around the chick. Reminds me of the halo around the towers before everything imploded.

Going to take a closer look at the part witht he 'babel research' bit

::Edits 1-3 removed due to me realizing how stupid they were::

Edit 4:
After watching the video a few times, and seeing the changes she's going through, and that 'halo' of crap around her, I think the object she's holding through out the video may be the WITB box.
Just speculation, but, it does seem fitting.

Edit 5 :
I didn't notice this the first 3 plays, but, it caught my eye on the fourth. The time under the WITB poster changes. See above screenshot, then this :

Edit 6:
right after she exits the door, at time 2:22 -

Starting to think it's a matter of the times, due to the ?? : ?? under it.
Maybe take the times for each box sighting (that's labled like above), and fit those in to the equation? Find the right time in order to find more box, right?

Found 3/3 and 1/3

3/3 Can be found at 3:15

1/3 is at 1:29

AND i think that 2/3 appears at 2:21 and not at 2:22

Okay, now i found the URL, 3/3 and 1/3. Where is the gold medal for seeing things, that are motion-blurred and only appear for a 1/25 second and with 80% transparency.

EDITs: Added 1/3, corrected wrong information

2/3 can be seen at 2:21 - but only a portion of it. It's not fully seen until 2:22.
Here's the two shots, respectively
2:21

2:22

But, VERY good work finding 3/3!
Now, to just work out that equation and find the page on babel-research!

Edit::
Either I'm a retard, google calculator fails, or I'm not using the right formats.
I thought that taking it from a time to a decimal number (1:29 becoming 1.29 for example.) would get me the answer. I've tried both 2:21 and 2:22 as possible answers. Dropping the 0. before putting the answer in. Still not getting it right.

I don't get it either.
I tried with and without {}
I tried with / and : between minutes and seconds
I tried with and without leading 0

I think the last part of the Url in 3:27 is "htm". At least it would make sense.

But keep trying!

Can't get it much clearer than that, but there clearly is another letter after HTM, and, it's either an L or an I, considering it gives the website before it, I'm guessing it's an L.

The equation bit, I'm thinking it's a/b/c = address, with each box sighting being it.

NOTE: I suck at math, I failed math every year I had to take it, and usually never showed up to class any way. Because of this, I could be very wrong with this next bit of speculation! I was thinking, since it's in bracket things, it may be like in an algebraic equation, where you split off different equations with in an equation.
Example : 2x (2x3)+1= 13.

You'd work out the split off bit first.

Taking that - time is set up like a ratio is. Maybe it's
(1/29) / (2/21) / (3/15)

Which according to google is :
((1 / 29) / (2 / 21)) / (3 / 15) = 1.81034483

Now to just find where that fits in...

FOUND IT!

http://babel-research.eu/129/222/315.html

I used a python-script to test all combinations

Code:
import os

def load(z,s,e,s1,s2,s3,k1,k2):
   os.system("wget -nv http://babel-research.eu/"+k1+z+"1"+s+s1+k2+"/"+k1+z+"2"+s+s2+k2+"/"+k1+z+"3"+s+s3+k2+e)

for zero in ("","0"):
   for sep in ("",":","/",",","."):
      for end in ("","/",".htm",".html"):
         for sec1 in xrange(28,31):
            for sec2 in xrange(21,23):
               for sec3 in xrange(15,16):
                  for k in (("",""),("{","}")):
                     load(zero,sep,end,str(sec1),str(sec2),str(sec3),k[0],k[1])

On this page you can see a video of cars floating through air until the maincharacter activates the box and everything starts to move again.

At the end the WitB-Ring is burning with a text-message: "MMX"
There is a comment in the code: <!The wait is not yet over>

There is a comment in the code: <The>

MMX is 2010 in the Roman Numeral system.
...Wait's not over yet, but, shit, I think that's telling us something.

Also, great work, man. So obvious in hindsight, eh?

Update :

Almost pissed my self when I got a comment from TimSmiT's personal youtube account. I figured he was going to tell me to let others figure out the time=url puzzle thing, instead I got :

"Timacious (1 minute ago)

I like your style. You seem to be very intelligent. I would like to thank you personally for staying faithfull to the box , even when information has been hard to come by. Just know that it is definitely not over. T "

I assume that doesn't just apply to me, but everyone here who's still working on this thing. I had included your name, Knizz, and basically gave you all the credit for finding it. Those two comments were removed though, right before I got his comment on my page. Think we're moving too fast for him, lol.

More from Tim.
I had asked him what the significance of MMX was, and if it meant WITB would be put out in 2010. Then if there wan an actual box prop, or if it was all CGI (I have a write up on how to make a box like that (from an unrelated project.) and was going to link him it if he wanted). Got this in return :
" Re:MMX
There will definitely be more in 2010. That's all I can say.

And no, there is an actual prop. Wink

Thanks,

T"

Just Telos will do Razz

And, he and I spoke a little bit more, nothing huge, but just from the general way things went, I think we should expect more soon. With in a few weeks or a month or so.
