 		I've seen plenty of people say that this is in no way related to Half-life (and I've only just gotten into this so who knows) but in the original video it clearly says at the bottom on the scrolling HUD something about Black Mesa and someone else has pointed out that the Babel Research logo is similar to that of Black Mesa's. I'm just not sure why this has been ruled out so quickly, ESPECIALLY with the new Portal ARG that has arisen with the update.

It's been ruled out because in two different places Tim - the guy who did this - said it started as a fan film and second that he used what he had on hand. Both places were on TV, with the man himself speaking.

 		A thought. Doesn't MMX also stand for a type of matrix math extension system developed by Intel? Maybe there are some numbers that should be run through it on the website?

This problem has already been solved.
There are four hints in the music video:

  • At 3:28: babel-research.eu/{1/3}/{2/3}/{3/3}.htm
  • At 1:29: A red box with "1/3" in it
  • At 2:22: A red box with "2/3" in it
  • At 3:15: A red box with "3/3" in it

If you insert the times of the box sightnings into the url you find another video at http://babel-research.eu/129/222/315.html

These hints only appear for split-seconds so I recommend downloading the music video from youtube first.

Read the last two pages for more info.

Its true but MMX also stands for 2010 Wink

 		When you go on www.timsmit.info, on the lower right globe, there is a monster between two towers,ballots, when you clocks at its tentacles, more below, he(it) appears in green "Urea Unfits Vino"

 		www.timsmit.info update
Not that it's a big deal or anything, but www.timsmit.info has recently had a slight update. The world now shows a section for Day Broke as well as a few other visual changes. Nothing important though.

 		OH.MY.GOD. Let me start by saying I'm a loooong time lurker of Unfiction. By long, I mean long.
I haven't seen anything about this in the 80+ pages I've read ( I might have missed over it, forgive me if I have) but if you go to Tim Smit's website timsmit.info and click on the small Mushroom cloud at the top of the page you'll get a very... well.. Strange video.
edit: going to clarify on the video

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The video shows a man and his girlfriend touring a bridge when the Tower melts down, birds start dropping from the sky and the tourists noses all start to bleed. pretty friggin creepy.
