Schrodinger's cat

with all the crazy mathemadics and stuff and the theory, it seems very possible.

Maybe this is the cipher text

Decompiling the flash object on the page reveals that the 4-digit string is an array called bullshitArray, and contains the strings:
0001 WSAD 134G ASDF 123A 1234 5223 QWER FASG 4213 UUUU READ FAST JFSD 2123 BOXR SAGA JFSD 2123 6335 2347 2678 7856 1111 0003

And any (or all) of these your key

I think the cipher to use in this case is the Vigenère cipher
and if it's the case disregard the numbers since the Vigenère cipher only uses letters

just throwing that out

You probably noticed that the first and second line have the same length in a monospaced font. Just replace an enter with a space in the first line.

It is, I think, possible to enlarge the tableau used for encryption with the numbers.

Come to think of it, couldn't the letters represented by the questions marks on mouseover of the box be formed into a keyword/selection for decryption?

Whatsinthebox

Hey guys, I'm cri0s from Holland. I love the movie and ventured around the site for a while. And I've been following this thread for a while now and had the following idea. How about texting Timacious about the site.
So I texted him through YouTube.

I sent him the following message:
Hé Tim,
Props voor het filmpje.
Krijgen we over zes dagen meer of moeten we nog met de credits stoeien?
Groeten,

Aron

This is dutch for:

Hey Tim,
Props for the movie.
Will we see more in six days or do we need to work on the credits first?
Greets,

Aron

And this morning he replied me with:

Re:WITB Re:WITB
Zes dagen meer. Smile

Tim

In English:

Re:WITB Re:WITB
More in six days.

Tim

So lets wait and see. =)

Btw.. Someone on Steam mentioned that the code in the bullshitArray should be put in the ASCII order. Anyone tried this already?

It is some kind of clue. Especially this lines:

"TIS CREA TEV O ector phy BAUT"
"dition R TER EL U OOS d AR"

So, We have "Create vector" and probably "addition".

Has anyone found out the link between oceanic air on the pics posted by user 'Kreis'?

I found this in the source code of the website

Part of the code:

div id = sally
If anyone should find this message, please get word I'm alive and stranded on an island somewhere in the South Pacific. Please send help soon. Things are bad. And they're getting worse...

div id = robert
I survived a horrific plane crash and am stranded on an island somewhere Northeast of Australia and Southwest of Hawaii. In the event that I am never found, please forward word of my fate to my parents.

As found on http://www.oceanic-air.com/. Doesn't look normal for a airline website, eh? I'm still looking at the rest of the source code, keep you posted.

Might mean New-Zealand?, the fictional black mesa was there also!

radio coverage

Just heard Tim and the other dude on the radio in Holland.

Big news over here.

They are just trying to get more attention to the SF genre over here in Holland, because there is almost no such scene over here.

Movie was originally made for
http://www.goshort.nl/?fId=212

A short animation competition, what they didn't win.

Hollywood already contacted them, and they are hoping to spin all this into a series.... Smile
Hollywood was amazed about the budget for this movie, 150 euro's.

Let's just see what they come up with next.

It really looks rather like a part of a riddle. Most of the links lead *explicitly* to 404.htm, while some (e.g. Terms of Use) lead to Disney Smile
Th

However, the flight tracker works exaclty for the "Flight 815" mentioned on the first page.
The most interesting lines there are
Quote:

572 Giveus THE 08:00 24:00 -- BOY 08:00 24:00 --
815 Alert SYD 14:15 14:55 23 LAX Alert Alert Alert

Note the "Give us the boy" Shocked
Does anyone know which airport LAX would be?

Additionally I found some more hidden code on /trackresults.htm :
Code:

If you are reading this note PLEASE get word to my wife that her husband survived the crash of Oceanic Flight #815 along with 47 others.  Darling, I miss you so much and dream of the day I can see your face again. The very thought of that day is all that keeps me going here. Please don't forget me!

One more link that doesn't fit to the others is
http://abc.go.com/oceanic/inflightmag/index.html
and some images have TEMP_ prefixed...

I'm sure there's more to be found on this website!

OK, people, I suppose, it was just great video contribution. The whole marketing and viral job do actually we at this thread Smile

I don't want to disillusion you, but I think, there is actually no ARG behind this project. Unless the movie makers will change their mind Smile

And all the Lost and Oceanic tie-ins are great, but already out of date, so if these webpages do have a clues, these clues are about past LOST-ARGs like Lost 815 etc.

Nevertheless great movie. I hope, there will come more.
