 		This wreaks of half life. There's some lost content but I'm not really sure it fits into this in any way.

Can anyone make out whats being said in the news broadcast?

I can only catch about 1/4 of it before the other language begins to raise volume and over lap.

Edit:...and is that Nixon in the notification picture?!?!?!

No, it isn't part of this.Please check the date of that blog post. It's in 2006 it's wayyyy old and was part of an older ARG relating to LOST.

The reference to Hanso was an Easter egg in my opinion, nothing more.

So I would have to say its almost positively a red herring.

Edit:
You might wanna consider the fact there's also a black mesa logo and an aperture science logo too on the babel industries website.


On a more related note the news broadcast has some backwards audio after it cuts to black.

Is this some machevallian plot by JJ abrams and Valve? Allegedly the teams (Valve and JJ-Bad robot) have met.
Resultant from Half life being featured in the Seaons 1 of lost in a scene, then the reciprocal Easter egg in Half life 2.
Or have the authors of all this mystery, have taken this in mind and then sent us into this mystery? Perplexed Confused
