this is what makes it weird. the towers aren't explicitly names, but i will agree with you that this is probably the truth. i never thought of the video as i only focused on the site... where the don't mention tower names.

however, in watching the video, we see that one of the towers (quite possible Englert) has a status report come up at about 4:19-4:21. Ok here are my conclusions.
From what is so far gathered here the box is nothing short of bad news. Prior to the opening of babel-research, on the website in the anti.gif photo was the equation dealing with a mathematical theory of putting a larger box into another box. In the video the box was reacting to that large vortex outside. When the guy who was holding the box saw this, notice he ran as far away from it as he could and along the way was trying to contact the research group. Then he ran into the U.E.C. guys. Who Immediately pursued our john doe with heavily armed forces and helicopters. While in pursuit, he involuntarily ran towards the vortex. When the U.E.C. finally apprehended him they immediately knew to look into his backpack to find the box. And as soon as they did all hell broke loose. The birds stopped flying, a piercing noise could be heard, and out of the vortex appeared something clearly screaming bad news to anyone/anything near it. The cryptic message of the box equaling hell was just the icing on the cake.

It wasn't necessarily them taking the box which resulted in SHF(shit hitting fan) you can hear the woman on the loud speaker saying "one minute to singularity" then near the end "15 seconds to singularity." Which to me indicates that the SHF long before he began to run.

 		ok guys, since my guess on the "THE BOX IS HELL" from today was starting some new hints i got a little bit more motivated.

again: i don't know if this is important, but it seems no one has ever tried before matching the arrows in the exposed.jpg and the anti.jpg?

well i did, but i don't see anything new coming out of this Sad
perhaps one of you does?

What about the the other anti.gif from the beginning? maybe we should merge that image too! perhaps if we use high contrast too!

 		The anti and exposed pics, when combined, reveal the location of where the 'little secret' hotspot is, which doesn't matter thanks to the sound file's link in the page source. Line the exposed and anti pictures up with the "RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGY" page (the exposed pic has the tops of 'D TEC' for you), and you'll see that the two arrows intersect right above the 'e' in 'impossible'. That's all there seems to be with those pics combined.

 		Scooter, its part of the "top" logo image. its entirely clickable, but directs to the home page. Like a lot of websites do.
So far I haven't been able to find any script or secret link attached to it.

The eyes in the top left corner bother me. on the normal page it looks like the all-seeing eye, and then in one of the other pictures (exposed i think?) it becomes the eye of Ra.

also fwiw August 6th is the day Hiroshima was bombed.

I don't think so, because if you look at my image

A really annoying coding practice. It's supposed to be http://www.babel-research.eu/images/schrodinger.gif
Some browsers automatically check for default extensions. So Firefox actually loads the .gif image, whereas IE doesn't because without the extension, the url is actually 404, resulting in the [X] broken image.

They really should fix that. Catfight!
