"Apocolypse"? Just a stab in the dark.

The name list on Babel's about page has been bugging me too...

T. Borgny, head of Acoustics.
L. Cole, head of Astrochemistry.
E. S. Williams, head of Biochemistry.
F. Bern, head of Computational Neuroscience.
L. Giles, head of Geomagnetism.
A. K. Deene, head of Quantum Mechanics.
H. Egberts, head of Second Harmonic Generation.

The first letters are TLEFLAH. Coming to mind:
THE FALL
HALF LET
HAT FELL
AFT HELL

dunno. just seems to conspicuous =P

Read from the bottom up, it's HALFELT. Half ELT? HAL felt? (2001?)

If you incorporate all the abbreviated names (TLESFLAKH) you get:

TALK FLESH
TALK SHELF

which might as well mean absolutely nothing

Don't forget about R. Altmann, the creator of Babel Research.

now that would give us
1. KRAFT SHE'LL
2. KRAFT SHELL

----

without the S and the K we get:

Fart Hell
Raft Hell
Frat Hell
Hall Fret
Hart Fell

lol, funny coincidence:

richard kelly, the director of donny darko is relasing a movie this year called "THE BOX". have a look at the poster:

THE BOX
You are the experiment

Razz i guess that's how most of the people in here are feeling about this Wink

That movie has NOTHING to do with this. It's an adaptation of a Richard Matheson (the I Am Legend writer, among other classics) about a family that gets a mysterious device. Everytime they "use" they device they get a bunch of money, but the device randomly kills someone. Nice try though.

i am completely aware of that and never said anything else. if you read again you will see that i said "FUNNY COINCIDENCE" - especially the "you are the experiment"

just see it as a little relaxation while all that riddling is going on...

Ok, gotcha Smile Just making sure people don't start over-analyzing the connection there, since there isn't one.

well if we're going for names, there are others listed throughout the site..

(in order top/bottom, first/last)
R. Altmann
T. Borgny, head of Acoustics.
L. Cole, head of Astrochemistry.
E. S. Williams, head of Biochemistry.
F. Bern, head of Computational Neuroscience.
L. Giles, head of Geomagnetism.
A. K. Deene, head of Quantum Mechanics.
H. Egberts, head of Second Harmonic Generation.
E. Miranda
L. Farwell
E. Donchin
J. Donoghue
A. Schwartz
R. Andersen

All proper names follow the same pattern - initial, last name. So either it's proper form for them, or there's something about the names.

Initials: RAJELEHALFELTR

I would imagine the second initial plays an important role as well... it doesn't make sense to put that out there if it's not important.

sorry if this is getting a double post, somehow the site seems to swallow my posts?

@bruce:

i think there's more logic in just using the names mentioned on ONE page (here: the about page - see my suggestions above) instead of using ALL names across the whole site.

else you get way too many results

Snowmang - the Hanso stuff is a red herring so far we think... Like the video has nods to Lost and Half Life - so too does the sites. Apparently the Hanso stuff was part of a Lost ARG back from 2006.

@snowmang

It's been suggested before. I commend you, but your reaching in the wrong direction. That's all from 2006, please pay closer attention to the dates on the web pages next time.

Why would they mislead us like that? The whatsinthebox.nl is only a redirection to babel-reasearch.eu, there's no script on whatsinthebox.nl...

Very good then, I'm glad were in agreement.
