 		The last movie posted from youtube isn't interesting, but it doesn't only say how Tim Smit made it, it also says that the "What's in the box?" movie is part of a bigger story. He also says that there are some parts in the movie that he holds the camera above the shoulder of the person that's running.

Tim Smit recently made two video's for a student website. The subject is: cutting edge technology at Radbout University. Part 2 is about the university's High Field Magnet Laboratory.

Part 1 dealt with nanotechology. The site claims that Tim is currently working on part 3, although he can hardly find the time because of the media attention for WITB. From the context I gather part 3 will be about 'the virtual reality lab'.

Might this be the background of WITB?

That's where the final scene of WITB was shot, isn't it? The High Field Magnet Laboratory is just a short walk from there (Toernooiveld 7, Nijmegen).

 		I didn't bother to check every single message in the chain, though I'm already at page 51 now. Anyway, this wasn't in wikibruce, but have you noticed that there are 13 stars in the UE ad picture, when in the real EU flag there are 12? Any ideas what the new country is :/

USA? (The voices in the film are speaking US english while the location is Nijmegen).
New technology + global police state = apocalyps? It all happens in Nijmegen because of its cutting edge Radboud University magnetic and/or nanotechnology, contained in a box. Only a Radboud scientist can save the planet and the Orwellian government is after him.
The university let Tim Smit use their camera's and virtual reality computers to make this film, to draw the attention of inquisitive internet users around the world to their university.

That's my guess. Now you fill in the details. (Like: what's in the box?)

nope. not at all.
mirrors + light = less light reflected elsewhere, unless properly formed, then you just get a solar furnace.
by mirrors + light, he meant to adjust the brightness/contrast of the image, along with using photoshop mirror effects on specific parts.
