[39C] Organizing cards amongst other things

Hey All!

I wanted to know (for the sake of my son who's into this)... how do you go about organizing your cards? Currently they're in an old small photo album. If anyone has any better suggestions that would be great! Once I'm done organizing them, I'll have a better idea of how many duplicates he has and can post the codes here. But for now, here's his card no.1 (surveillance) code: 27MGNKNPX2

I put my cards into a plastic box-like a recipe box. Before I did that, I scanned both sides, and made a pdf file out of the scans. This way I can look at the cards without damaging them. I'm funny this way. At least I haven't laminated them yet Wink

A have mine set up like this:

First they're split into to groups, my pitiful 60 card account and my massive 352 card account,

Then they're sorted in this order: UR cards, prestige cards, replicator cards, money 3 cards, 2 cards, and money 1 cards, then everything else.

After that I put one rubber band across the center of the prestige card in the first account, and then put one rubber band directly above and below the lettering on the X-Ray for the second.

I just bought an album for the cards a week ago. I organize it by number. But I'm thinking organizing it by branch ( Ekats first, of course) Very Happy.

Organizing cards
keeping cards in index card container

My son keeps them in one of those neat, colorful, 3x5 index card containers from Staples (less than 2 dollars) that hold 100 cards. They come with small see through dividers and there is a plastic slot in front where you can put a label. He keeps them just in numerical order and keeps duplicates at the back.

That is a really good idea. I keep mine in the card pack in order. And if I have to many cards in a pack I take my friends pack.
