Rose was having a bit of a problem posting this so I volunteered to be the messenger.

Her idea is as follows:

Thank you so much for posting this for me. An addition to this idea is that it is the Scrabble point total for the words which are the answers in the puzzle and see if that makes anything.

 		Hi!

It was already mentioned on IRC a few weeks ago. I've made a program that listed all letter combinations with the given word value.
The list increases exponentially as the value grows. As the value of 6 gives about 22 pages of words, and a value of 7 gives about 20000 pages of words, I gave up working on it.

 		Scrabble Crossword -clarification
I'm not sure that I expressed clearly what I meant:

the clues would be

3 D - LAURA 1,1,1,1,1 or 5 16A URL - 1,1,1 or 3

22A - TENAM 1,1,1,1,3 or 7 20A - FDR - 4,2,1 or 7

5A-STAYUP 1,1,1,4,1,3 or 11 8D -YEH 4,1,4 or 9

6D TEASER 1,1,1,1,1 or 5 12 D BROADSIDE 3,1,1,1,2,1,1,2,1 or 13

22A TENAM 1,1,1,1,3 or 7 18D WHOOP 4,4,1,1,3 or 13

11A GBS 2,3,1 or 6 5D SHEENA 1,4,1,1,1,1 or 9



The thing to decode would be the numbers given by the Scrabble value, so
the numbers are the new coded message, not something to translate into Scrabble values. Does that make sense?

My thought would be that the letters of the words of the answers in the crossword puzzle (or the total) are translated into Scrabble values as I did above.

The resulting numbers are the message we have to decode like any other numeric coded message - not necessarily to put back into Scrabble values.

I don't know how to decode numeric codes but I am working on it!

 		Solved: Bible Crosswords
Well reading the bible verses was the trigger we needed. Reggie/John gave Caretaker a rumpled piece of paper, which was then solved by Grumpyboy to get John's back door password. which led to the Shadow files (login id's and hashed passwords).
