I would almost be willing to bet that the "good news" is that the story is complete.

Provided they haven't yet "deleted" Bricker, what do you think the odds are of us using Holly as leverage somehow?

I may be spouting nonsense. I'm on day two with no sleep - my thoughts are all jumbled.

Well drat. If I had been a little more sober I know I might have tried that...Razz. I think that we very well could use holly as leverage, they seem to be almost overly protective of her. I wonder why...

EDIT: Also, CIAbrams has always struck me as being suspiciously OOG.

CIAbrams: You have a much better chance than we do-and-you need to understand that she's not expendable.

ArlenRage: I'm all ears, my dear.

clas1ca: Keep Holly floating right now; she is valuable. Threats exist against our writer that they are very capable of pulling through if you don't.
The good thing is: we have leverage. We have something of (apparent) worth to the Feds that we can use to bargain into the Brightman with.
So if you kill her now, it's game over.

Guys: CIAbrams has a point. Though I don't think it's the same exact point I'm trying to make. They're desperate to get Holly back for whatever reason. We have something of real value--FOR ONCE--to the Feds that we can trade.

So allowing Rage to be ...Rage would be a very bad idea right now, because this is the best chance we've ever had to get into the Brightman.

Before we offer up our biggest bargaining chip to get into an institute that we know nothing about, let's get some answers out of Holly first.

Specifically:
Why is the NSA interested in Bricker/Port?
Why would she masquerade as one of the watchers? For what purpose?

I'd like to know the answers to these.

Goddamn it, I had a feeling that when Bricker "went home", someone would be waiting for him.

And classi, you're the middleman because no wants to talk to us. Wink

I'd see if I can negotiate but no one seems like talking to me.

Well I have lost all contact with Jenny inside brightman. No answer to any of my emails.

As for them saying they have Bricker and we want to trade for Holly. They seem to have backed down a bit from saying: "if Holly gets hurt the writter will get deleted". But now they want to trade? Somethings up. They have had Bricker or had chances to have Bricker any time they wanted. They shot him up with something. Holly went to ARGfest with him. They have had tons of chance to kill him. They wont hurt him, they need him.

... so while I regain my composition ...

Brian says hi.

Courtney,

This is really going too far. My wife said that Ron was asking about how I back up my computer files, if I kept any external drives and if I owned any guns. Then he just left and that was it. I've got a bad feeling about this so I'm taking my family to my sister-in-law's place in Arizona. I've finished the story and I'll send it when I get there.

Oh god. Okay, from the Junko Junsui section on UF. From what I can gather, the ARG has apparently gone downhill and the PMs started attacking the players and blocking them from the game and teaming up with 4chan in order to finish the ARG because 4chan is their "knight in shining armor" or some BS like that.

I don't know how this applies to our ARG, but that's twice that someone has referenced Junko within this ARG.

Not saying they're connected, but it looks like the fallout from the Junko ARG has caused people to try and Gamejack us.

Yeah... a friend of mine pointed out the first reference a bit after I had posted and the pieces fell together. Bemusing, at best. I would suggest we move on with the real game, hm?

That said, I think my plan to trade Holly for Brightman access still stands.

[META]
I have been lurking the META section of Junko Junsui. (What ClusterF#Ck that turned out to be) I know "I'm sorry" was referenced a couple times there.
But this looks like a failed gamejack attempt too me. Probably some 4chan spill over. Some scriptkiddie's idea of fun I guess. [/META]

That being said, below is the email I get from Jenny's address. It is supposed to look like mailer-deamon failure, maybe it is just me but it just dosen't seem right. I figured I would throw it up here just incase...

I agree with the clusterf#ck thing. I was reading over Nighthawks timeline and all the things the PM did wrong....yeesh.

Wow. That's a bit unbelievable, considering gmail has a 7GB limit on email, which is literally 20,000 emails of just text.

Do you think you can post the headers Schwinn?

Also, how long was it between the time you emailed her and the time you got that MailerDaemon message? Cause I fired off an email to Jenny myself, and if her mailbox reaqlly is full, I should've gotten an instant reply back, but I've gotten nothing yet.

=edit=

That's not the MailerDaemon. At least, not Gmail's.

Here is the proper MailerDaemon format when you encounter an error:

Now, keeping in mind that this is because the email address I sent this to doesn't exist, you can see the proper format. Every MailerDaemon response always has a link to the Gmail Support section and they reply back to you with the technical details about the message. They also send it back to you, mere seconds after you send it out. It's been 15 minutes and no "Failure" notice has come back to me from Jenny's email.

In short, that's not the MailerDaemon sending those emails. Someone is trying to stop us from contacting Jenny.

=edit 2=

Ha! More proof that her mailbox's not full and that it's not a Gmail MailerDaemon:

Well 1st clue, the email came from from
Quote:
Jenny Chamberlain (brightmanoracleSPLATgmail.com)

When all Gmail MailerDaemon messages come directly from:
Quote:
Mail Delivery Subsystem (mailer-daemonSPLATgooglemail.com)

Second clue is that the MailerDaemon email from Jenny's email address is
Quote:
From: Mail Delivery System (Mailer-Daemon.brightmanoracleSPLATgmail.com)

Also I just got an email from Google that Mailer-Daemon.brightmanoracleSPLATgmail.com doesn't exist.

So I don't know where we go from here, unless we get some answers out of Holly before we trade her for Brightman Access.
