I'm not at all convinced of this. I think that was meant metaphorically.. like he wants her to see the world like he does. She's dead because she hasn't been shown what being alive is yet.

I have to say I was convinced by your line of thought syntacticAtrocity, as soon as I read your question I thought- "Damn, that's it. Great spot!". Nice bit of lateral thinking there. However, I'm with Burrito on this one, I think that's possibly just Lenny cracking a funny.

Forgive the dumb question, but are we sure that Lenny isn't a "collected" soul also? For me, so far it seems as though JDM uses all of these various souls as means to an end. And they do it willingly, for their love of him. Take PK's story of how Jenny died. If I remember right, the killer got in and out of a restroom window that was too high, and surrounded by 3 undercover patrol cars. And yet no one saw anything.
1 other thought. When JDM described the killing of that family the other day - could he have been describing the taking of TT?

If that has all been discussed, my apologies. We really need a wiki on this. Cuz I doubt it's going to get any easier.

Heh, I don't think we can be sure of anything at the moment to be honest. Smile
Regarding TT being a collected soul:- I do think syntactic's idea was a very good one, and may possibly be correct. But I don't think we can read that it was the right one purely from Lenny's response.
As to TT being the girl from the family that JDM spoke of taking before, I'm not convinced. TT has mentioned before that she met up with Lenny voluntarily by joining The Game, mentioned in the flier. She contacted him. Whereas, with the family, JDM mentioned that he'd been approached by the father to deal with a problem his son had caused.

I highly doubt that this is Nighthawk's game since he's PM'ing DecepTech (Downstream). Besides, this game seems too unorthodox for even him.

This is true, unless you consider the possibility that this is a tie-in to Rachel's walk. Aside from the rabbit referencing, there have been multiple references to clouds and dark, ie. brainclouds and darklight.

It's a very well narrated interactive fiction, so far.

Wasn't Nighthawk on vacation for a few days there, too? Considering the rate at which DecepTech has been moving, I don't think this would be progressing as fast as it has been.

Could be wrong. /shrug
