Okay, The Patriot emailed me back:
'find which of you has It; they will know what to do next'

Is someone holding out on us, huh? :B

Also: the blog has been updated with a variety of weird, weird images. (And subsequently have taken them down again.)

Looking at it closer, I think it's supposed to read like: '2238 Geary Ave, 5th Floor, in the men's bathroom, in a toilet'...? I think we have a drop, guys.

Dividing each number by four, you get this:
Quote:
08 05 12 16 0 13 05 0 1 19 08 0 14 08 0 19 03 1 18 05 04

Which, with simple substitution (and '0' is a space), you get this message:
Quote:
HELP ME ASH NH SCARED

This ain't good news.

Also: JDM's latest tweet isn't omnious AT ALL.
Quote:
Currently sipping an iced vente mocha and watching blood dry.

Good catch Schwinn. 1 and 1, so we're out of phone number territory, I guess?

To the PM: The graphics for the Geary men's room were more interesting. LOL

I'll go double check right now.

also, exploring the TMP files..

~WRL0781.TMP goes up to the line
Quote:
"Yeah…I didn't think so. I tried to tell him," And then she shouted, "You're a moron, Randall!"

~WRL0190.TMP goes to that line, and then adds another
Quote:
There was a long silence as they both listened to see if Randall heard. They could only hear the Foo Fighters on Letterman.

It goes on like that through the files. They're revisions, is what they are. Revisions of a novel. I'm still glancing, I will update this post, but so far EVERY character in our game has been mentioned. keep an eye on this one.

Response from 'wewatch@ymail.com':
Quote:
Lenny and his team managed to put us against a wall; good job

we are disciples of The Oracle and we are everywhere

only She can stop The One

be ready

we will make an exchange next week for the found item; its owner will be wanting it back; he thinks he wrote the story; he is a delicate soul

Port King was arrested today in Oklahoma City; we are one step closer

Uh oh.

The longest manuscript basically covers everything after Port's run in with the 'Feds', plus a flashback to Jenny's death. There is so much backstory here, guys. (The longest one is '3768'.)

Schwinn found this blog by Google'ing the title of Bricker's novel.

It's definitely IG.

My brain hurts now.

Okay. Read through the most finished of the Bricker novel files (For anyone interested, they are, in order from most complete to least complete: WRL3768; WRL2467; WRL0190; WRL0781; WRL3997) There might be something in the file names, but I dunno at the moment.. Head hurts. It should also be noted that there are minute differences between the files, mostly near the end. I chalk them up to re-writes, and assume we are looking at revisions of the same book.

The novels detail first the Brightman Oracle story; most of this is pulled STRAIGHT from the oracle blog classical just linked, all of the info is found there. It then details Port's encounter with the feds, him explaining the story to Queenie, then finally flashback to him talking with Jenny before she died. Each is their own seperate "chapter", mounting up to 4. I couldn't find anything definitive in here, except some new info.

Jenny has a last name. Jenny Chamberlain. This is PK's Jenny, not the Jenny referenced in Brightman blog.

Beryl Stain is the father of the man Jenny identified. Brian Stain is the man she identified. She and her boyfriend witnessed him riding an ATV through a drainage pipe with what is assumed to be bags of money on the back; one falls open and off his ATV and wrapped cash falls out. Her boyfriend is the one who told people they saw it.

Oh, and Port King killed and/or did.. something.. to somebody.

Quote:

He had never gotten the guy who actually killed her – but he did do the next best thing. Somebody paid. Oh yeah, eye for an eye and all that. Fuckin' A.

Nobody would ever know that it was him, though. He had made damn sure of that. But it did start him wondering now about the two F.B.I. guys in his office today.

Near the end of the chapter where he explains to Queenie what happened.

Okay, now that I've unloaded this ridiculous amount of information, my head feels a little better. Have fun trying to link all of this, because it all connects somehow.

Hmm.
Document timestamps can be modified with certain programs, so I don't know if that is legit, but... even if it wasn't, it still begs the question: why?

It places his story in a particular timeline that comes a year before Hatch's and Port's blogs even sprout up. And far before the more recent evens with the Feds that Bricker describes. Unless the timestamp was changed to obscure this fact, Bricker somehow knew both Port's and Hatch's stories before they even began.

Also: brianbricker.com
I... I don't... think? it's in game? But the fact that it's a writer's website and the copyright info is owned by 'Brian D. Bricker', the coincidence is really freaking me out.
