I have been updating the wiki like crazy tonight; notably, the character list has been updated to reflect the stuff in the manuscripts and we've got a quick and easy timeline now that covers the main events from every day that I'll try to update daily, if I can
(add anything if I missed it!)

and I encourage and implore everyone to add new pages to elaborate further on these lists, like I did with the King Darzin code and such

sleep now /collapse

Great job Classy. I just went in and made a page for "The Package".

Wiki page for "The Package"

Hey Guys,

Great work over the last few weeks. Increasing demands at work + playoff hockey have all but eliminated my involvement in this game. I see there is now a wiki up and look forward to following the story.

Wouldn't mind jumping in a on specific puzzles, but can't really be around for the meta. Have fun kids.

Sorry if this gets a bit rambling, but I've got a lot to post.

1) Thanks for all the well wishes. I'm doing fine, just a damaged ego, and a stiff body (I hate turning into that old folks cliche' - but you really don't recover as quickly as when you were younger Smile.
2) I can't remember who posted the link between my little accident and TINAG, but would it be suspicious if I told you I had discovered that my brake lines were cut? (JUST KIDDING!!!)

3)Awesome conversations with Bricker - sounds like you guys have been asking all the right questions. And as promised, here's the conversation I had with Bricker prior to getting him into the IRC chat with Schwinn and myself. I'll attach it so as not to turn my post into all of page 35 Smile.

4) Also attached: I'm sure some of you have noticed the strange/negative tweets from a certain CptHolly. Up until Bricker's comment about being visited by a Holly - I just figured she was another incarnation of Kade, or some other nay-sayer. A few days back, she made a very negative direct comment to me, and I told her to stop posting that, email me and explain why she's so irritated at the game. Her reply email.

5) I also received an email from Bricker with an attachment. I haven't had a chance to look at it yet, but I'm guessing it's the same thing that Schwinn & Class got. Did you guys get a chance to compare if they were the same? I'll take a look at mine as soon as I can, and get it posted if it's different.

As I was reading back through the conversation with Bricker I had originally - hopefully it fills in a lot of holes. Sorry it took so long to get it posted.

As for the email from Cpt.Holly aka Pam aka Kade(?) - creepy.

Hoo ah, so the "hazel teen" lake that Bricker mentioned in that chat really perked my interest, as I know of a Lake Hazeltine. So I emailed him about it:

me wrote:
Hello Mr Bricker--
Thank you for sharing more of your manuscript with our troupe. It has been a very...informative? read, if I may put it that way. Lots of questions answered. More to solve.

My friend shared with me the brief conversation you had with him tonight and something you mentioned caught my interest. I wondered if you might be able to elaborate on it for me? You mentioned a "Hazel Teen" and it being a lake of sorts. Did you learn anything else about this lake from your run-in with Holly? Personally, I thought that it might be "Hazeltine", and I know of a Lake Hazeltine. I would be very interested in knowing what she mentioned, if you are willing to share.

Thanks for your time-- C

So he wrote back:
Bricker wrote:
C,

Sorry I can't be of more help on this one. I don't get it, it was like a short poem - only without the poetry! There was something about the shores of a lake, a "golfing green," a hazel-teen, a lock and key, and preserving birds. Or something similar. Even Holly, the young lady yesterday, was reading it off of a piece of paper and giggling and then she kind of shrugged and said, "I was supposed to read that." Like Rage thought that it would mean something to me.

Sorry again. I wish you guys luck in all of this and I'm sorry that I'm not much more help. After what happened in Oklahoma, I really struggle with the reality of any of this. Any of you. Sometimes I can picture Jenny standing in the cool yard of the Brightman, face moist with the salt air and other times, like right now, she's no more than a two-dimensional character from a comic book in my mind. I honestly don't know what to think. I guess for me, until FoxNews starts broadcasting the "final battle" (with their dramatic music and flashy graphics) coming across the water of Bodega Bay, I'm just going to keep driving to work everyday, sitting around the dinner table with my family every night, and working on textbooks, you know?

Sorry about the rant.

--Brian

Which, as always, just makes me more confused. Man. The more I research this "poem", the less at ease I feel about what I feel the answer is. I could really use someone else's perspective on this "hazel teen" thing right now, honestly. I feel like he's describing a place, though.

The things that Schwinn and I got were totally different files, so I bet yours will be different, too, Wulf. I am eager to see it!

(And by weird conjecture and writing style alone, I honestly don't think CptHolly is who she says she is. But maaaaybe that's just me.)

Wow @ JDM/Rage's tweet.

Does it have something to do w/Rage's meeting with Bricker? Who did what to Ari?

I still have a bit of reading to do before I'm fully caught up, so I may have just missed it.

In one of the chats, Bricker mentioned that Ari would be dead by now, I think.

I don't recall him saying how or why.

I'm probably wrong, but as I recall, it was my chat with Bricker that said Rage had killed Ari.

Ok - again, sorry for the delay - here's both of the documents from Bricker I received. Can someone put them in order, and then let's get all of it posted up on the wiki. I'd do it tonight - but RL is interfering too much lately. However, I'm still checking in via blackberry, or ipod, or laptop if I can get to it.

Any idea what this "key" is? Even the CIA is saying its' "in play"..? And I may try and rub Rage the wrong way if I can remember my twitter pw from here.. lol

I think that's everything for the time being. Also, wanted to say thanks to Schwinn and Classical for all the work on the wiki they've done - it looks frickin awesome.

=edit=
Somethign interesting or not. Not sure. Got another twitter from CptHolly in which she addressed me as Mr. Wulf. I've only ever been called that once before. And it was on the package Port sent me, addressed to Mr. Wulf...
I'm pretty certain she's IG - if she wasn't - she'd be posting here, and we've already been down that road.. Very Happy

I tried to upload the actual .docs to the wiki, but only an administrator of the wiki can apparently do that! But I did update the page for The Great and The Terrible to reflect your additions.

also: here is all of the pieces combined. The last section with Jenny becoming the Oracle may or may not be in the right spot, but I think the rest of them are flowing right, otherwise.

I still find it weird that Bricker emailed three of us with two random pieces of the story each in no particular order.

Ok - either I seem to be attracting all sorts of crazies (no offense "Gradisca" if you're truly OOG - you know how it works Smile ) - or this is truly getting into the realm of .. WTF?!?

At about 2am MST this morning, I received an email from someone named Gradisca:
Quote:
Hello Wulf,
I am not playing this game, but I am watching it with interest. What I am interested in is the Theresa Duncan/Jeremy Blake angle, so I'm keeping my eyes open to see what turns up about them.

I found something odd, and I'm not at all sure if it's supposed to be part of the ARG, which is why I didn't want to muck up your wiki or Unforum thread with a bunch of OOG stuff. But I did want to pass it along to someone in your group, because it struck me as quite a coincidence. (But of course I've been following the DuncanBlake saga for nearly two years now, so my weirdness meter may need recalibration.)

I was searching for mentions of Jeremy Blake in the last 24 hours and I found this site: http://www.indiegogo.com/DuncanBlake. Apparently indiegogo helps independent filmmakers with project funding and promotion. Chase Spivey from Norman, OK wants to make a film about Duncan and Blake. I googled young Mr. Spivey. He certainly appears to be a real person, and in a band called Ghost of Monkshood. His e-mail is ghostofmonkshoodSPLATgmail.com. It's a fairly strange web page. Can a kid in Norma, OK honestly think he's going to get a film made about this, especially since Lyonsgate has already announced one in the works? Maybe. If he's legit, God bless his youthful ambition.

I didn't know what to make of it, but there's not much info there so I let it be. Then, as I was browsing your wiki timeline the town of Norman, OK jumped out at me like a ton of bricks (or something like that). I tried to find Spivey's street address in the online white pages, and I didn't find an address for him, but a couple who appear to be his parents (I'm not sure if he lives with them or not) live about 5 miles from the Oakhurst Ave house in your ARG. Now, granted, how big a town can Norman be? EVERYTHING in Norman may be within 5 miles of that house. But it was strange enough that I did want to mention it to you all.

I honestly am not trying to inject the Duncan/Blake material into your ARG, so if you prefer to ignore this tangent, please feel free to simply do so. But if you do want to share any or all of this info with your fellow ARGers, you may share this e-mail with them, post it wherever you wish, etc.

Good luck and take care,
"Gradisca" (pen name to maintain my anonymity)

P.S. I know everything in these goddamn ARGs is part of the game and you're never supposed to admit it's a game, but please please please believe me, I am not part of the game and I don't want to distract you with any wild goose chases.

And as of about 2min ago - I received this from a Rich Adams(the_45_126_81_63_117_9SPLATyahoo.com). Please keep in mind - that this may not be related to anything here, as the email it was sent too, is used strictly for ARG's, so it may be a trailhead of some sort. If it is - I'll remove it as soon as it's verified).

I haven't had a chance to look at it yet - I've been busy trying to read all of TGATT. At first blush it appeared to be an IP address, but it's obviously too long for that. Anyone?

Keep in mind - that neither of these may be related.

=edit=
Ok - the numbers? If you add them together, you get 9.9.9.9.9.9...... 18 times. Which of course = 9 if you add it together. Ya dig?

Multiply 9*18=162, which if you add together you get 9 again. I'm so confused. If this is in the wrong thread, I really apologize.

I have yet to look over the other one, but this code can all be divided by nine, much like many of our number codes have been.

I call in-game. (PS: the same process applied to the string of numbers in the email address reveals "engima".)

edit:: the other email just seems to be more speculative meta stuff. The address she provided is actually this one, though.

Yeah, I'm not really getting anything conclusive, either. There's stuff about historical sites and some DDT/global warming links that looked sort of promising, but...not really. This is interesting, but not really related, I don't think.
