 		I also fired an email off to Mr. Army. I thought tho - that the person I emailed was Thomas Lincoln? Yet I noticed that Val Seer addressed him as "Ernie". So far as I'm aware, Ernie isn't short for Thomas in anyway.

Did I miss something again? damnit.

So unless we have someone here that is in or near Denver. Or If we could get Port, since he s apparently flying across country to meet with Dr. B to maybe make a quick detour to Denver. We might be out of options.Hopefully Port will contact us with his itinerary.

I can go. It's only a 12hr drive for me - but I have enough skymiles for several free flights - so I can hop a plane and be back home the same day if necessary. Just need a day or 2 advance notice to set it up.

Yeah, I'm starting to get the impression that Sarge has been given an entirely different reason for telling his story, now of all times, rather than in the past. It almost sounds like he's been told that the media is going to contact him, because someone leaked out that he had an important story.

I'm going to respond to the email he accused me of being with the media, and recant some of the things I said in there. To see if I can get him to open up a bit more.

I think any further dealings with him - we should (at least I will) pretend to be part of some unnamed media organization.

here are a couple of observations on last hazeltinereport posts in light of recent developments - i'm not claiming that any of this is relevant to the game, but what the hey

1 - during the Vietnam War, "Charlie" was US grunt-speak for communist forces

2 - in May 1973, Creem magazine printed a piece by Lester Bangs titled "Jethro Tull in Vietnam" - nothing in the article seems helpful, but note that during Tull performances on the Thick As A Brick tour people in bunny costumes would hop about the stage

 		Letterman Army Hospital was located in the Presidio of San Francisco

foo fighters on Letterman is one of the edited bits among the revisions of TGATT from the thumbdrive

the Lucas/SkywalkerRanch memorabilia vaguely points to Letterman Hospital because Lucasfilm's Letterman Digital Arts Center is on the site of the old hospital
