Chapter 44 begins with the quote:

Quote:
The enforced passivity of their defense, the interminable waiting, became insupportable.
Day and night they heard the muffled thud of the picks above and dreamt of the collapse
of the grotto and of every ghastly eventuality. They were subject to "castle-mentality" in
its most extreme form

The chapter is part of the climax of the book. Where Woundwart is attacking the warren and Hazel leaves to go to the farm to set the dog loose.

Of course I have NO idea how "say" it.

As Chinese is far from a language I've ever considered learning, everything I can find seems to pronounce it

Well this isn't good.

I don't know what the first image of the building is (though it seems familiar, I can't recall right now!) but the second one is an image of Al Capone's St. Valentine's Day massacre.

So um.

Well the first pic is the Crystal Cathedral where not too long ago a man committed suicide during a service:

So ... murder / suicide?

Okay, so the Cathedral is located in Garden Grove, California. Which is where Port said the Watchers had moved to.

Uh oh!

edit;; so I sent a quick, 'hey contact me if you see this' sort of email to Port a couple of hours ago but I haven't heard back from him...

But my phone just went off. Someone left me a text message. Guess who?

Number is unfamiliar--i.e. it's not Bricker's, but his number was apparently his home number, anyway. It is a Santa Rosa number, though: (707) 758 9229

But I will take this information only lightly if I must. :B

FOR FUN ADDITIONAL WEIRDNESS: JJDeMolay @ Twitter apparently works again--and this tweet from May 15th only JUST showed up in my feed reader. I dunno if y'all saw it before me or something, but... that was a few days before the thing all went to hell, yes?

And... now it doesn't work anymore. I might have jinxed it. But that totally wasn't a fluke of my cache or anything...

As of about four hours (about half an hour after my last post):

We had a good rapport, back when this all started. I need perspective, my friend, so I naturally thought of you. I fear I may have eliminated those who I actually needed, making things much more complicated now. I'm not accustomed to confusion and definitely not regret. I am seeking advice and thought of you.

This just showed up in my inbox a couple mins ago. It came as a reply to my email to TT. No message TT just replied to me with this image. I assume it has to do with the cemetery. maybe a grave marker or something.

Got this from TT about an hour ago, while standing in line at Walmart (where, coincidentally, I was parked directly across from a black Yukon with tinted windows).

I've been studying the picture I got from TT. Where Franklin Ave. connects with Terrace Way happens to be at one edge of Santa Rosa Rural Cemetery.
