his reply:
I don't know but I feel like the answer to this starts with the message or what ever it is. My gut tells me its something I'm supposed to know but i dont know. Here look at it again. I know its in there somewhere.

Roahoe Herring to me
Most of her friends say she was just your average person blended in with the crowd you know. I think i will call the authorities this is just a bit much you know. I will keep you posted.
I'm clueless and Molly is just your average girl who happens to know Alchemy symbols by heart.

For what it's worth, I tried looking to see if I can find anything in the file, but was unable to. Used a hex editor but found nothing but the camera attributes, and found no traces of a steg. Drat.
Searches on the words have turned up nothing on my end, sadly.
The only thing I can do is point out that NU BA and G are all capitalized. Along the same lines, th ith and lu all seem to be lower cased. I'm not finding any significant anagrams, if there are any. I'll keep pondering.

I think I'm going to join up on this one. I've tried to join others in the past, but they've always been too far along. I sent an e-mail, waiting for a response.

Amandel he did tell me he didn't think the eraseboard was her handwriting. But okay so I've had 2 emails from Mr. Herring the first in response to the eraseboard stuff.

I'd try running "Nu Bath Githlu" through google but i dont know where this celtic stuff comes in.
Thing is, I HAVE ran Nu Bath Githlu through google and got nothing.
Second email:

I just called the local authorities to file a missing person on Molly. As soon as I said Lorcan they put me on hold when the line came back to life this really angry sounding guy was on the line. And know lie he called me by my full name which I had not given yet and told me. "The oath of the forsaken binds her to laws you would not understand. Quit your search there is nothing beneath the surface for you, but soon you will understand, all in due time." I can not in good concious ask you guys to continue your search this guy sounded serious and apparently has local authorities backing him.
Which seemed to go to all of us...
Now, quick question; where did "Lorcan" come in the first place of any of this? Because I do not recall it.

maybe we're supposed to take it as her last name? I can't find anything with it, other than this:
some baby name website wrote:
The boy's name Lorcan \l(o)-rcan, lor-can\ is pronounced LOR-ken. It is of Irish and Gaelic origin, and its meaning is "little fierce one".

Heyas! Also got the Ok back off for your own safety mail. Reckon Roahoe's words there "know lie"= no lie.
Is the symbol on the bottom left just a Solar Cross or Celtic Cross as Phyrehawk mentioned ? Will keep plodding.

Heh, was just checking in to see if you guys got the "back off" email too...
I take it none of us are THAT concerned for our safety?
Will carry on looking properly when I get home from my girlfriends.

Got the 'back off' mail too.
Mr. Herring tried to contact me via MSN a few days back, but I thought it was some spammer and refused his contact. >_>
Next time someone tries to contact me via IM I'll at least try to talk to them... ^__^
edit:
I tried to look at the photo turned 90° to the right, so that the top right symbol looks like that:
But the text wasn't any clearer like that. The 'th' looks like 'St' though and the 'G' could be a 'J'.

Hello... I think I may have found something...
Githlu is possibly misspelled... Running "Nu Bath" and "forsaken" through Google returned this:
Quote:
Nu Bath Githul
The Herd Must Not Know
http://uratha.com/index.php/Nu_Bath_Githul
Hrm - possibly based on a White Wolf Werewolf game?
Or... A pack of werewolves using the game as cover.
[edited to add]
Also found the three symbols:

They didn't specify that it was a herd of werewolves, it could be a herd of cows.

Email sent to Roahoe... Decided to give it to him straight.

Heh, you don't get rid of me that easily Roahoe - especially not when a friend's in trouble.
I think I've had some success with the message left on the whiteboard, last word may be spelt wrong but - "Nu Bath Githul."
Apparently it translates to "The Herd Must Not Know" and seems to have something to do with a game called Werewolf the Forsaken.
Ties into the "forsaken" reference
I think I also found the three pictures that were drawn.
The one that looks like a celtic cross is apparently Rahu.
The circle with a hook is Cahalith.
And the circle and wavy lines is: Elodoth.
Any of this mean anything to you at all? Molly never spoke of any interest in such things to me but... I didn't speak to her a GREAT deal I'll admit.
So... Any of this help?
~Phyre
And I think when it says "herd" squid - from what I read on the site I found it - it refers to us, the little folk, as humans.

{Oog} I've played before. From what I can tell, this is definitely a Forsaken based game. Especially the cop. {/oog}
