No need to spoil that you're as desperate as the rest of us! Wink I really like your idea regarding 'The next one' but the login doesn't work for me so I can't check it.

Speaking of desperate, I made a sceenshot of the book (comic maybe) that Cat's reading in the new "update" and played around with contrast and brightness, looks like a key to me:

Ya, I've been feeding the trout with trying to ID the book. So far I'm building a trout farm... Trout

As for red herrings, I've been trying to ID the two birds on the BOH website (in case passwords are stupidly related to something so prominent as the birds on their logo!) but no luck getting an ID. Red Herring

I must say, those fans on YouTube have a lot to answer for. By and large they're not in the game and yet they keep asking for longer episodes!

I guess it could all be our fault - I mean with the four musketeers (Psysop, AUZ, Trillian and MarthaJ) on our side, the puzzles have been falling like flies (mabye we're going too quickly for them! Smile )

On the other hand perhaps those unsolved puzzles are important to solve (in which case a kl00 would be nice!) Bang Head

@chaos: Welcome my friend! We need all the help we can get. A fresh brain can add wonders to old crusty stale ones like mine!

Welcome from me too! I've been a bit quiet, but that was mainly because I'd run out of ideas... Embarassed

Good spot, chaos, with the "Jacob" from the Hierophant - I'd forgotten about that! We haven't encountered any Jacob login so far, have we?

Welcome from me too, chaos! And a tiny request: could you somehow downsize your avatar? It's about 4 times as large as ours and combined with the permanently changing pic it gives me even more headaches than the head-banging and brickwall-demolishing we're doing at the moment. Embarassed

I was confused about the double dashes and the "in-word-dashes" (like ra-dio) and there where morse codes before in the game. So I took all dashes and dots together to get a code hopefully.
The breaks are a big problem (if there is a code). I inserted a break after every paragraph. But the output was senseless.

Looks like a key to me too. And because Cats writes something down in the ""Key book", i feed Google with this information.
Results: "P.W."
Pieter Willem Botha, former President of South-Africa.
Commonly known as "P.W."
So once again a dead end

(it's rad-io Razz )
doesn't run with any meaning, but "no more than yellow scrub not a single surviving blade just a tight wedge of stone or both"
is what the text in the doubledashes says
just supplying it so noone wastes time trying that out Rolling Eyes

and it doesn't work trying it with single dashes- it'd be half the text that way
EDIT: hate to say it, but that guy doesn't look like the PW in the pictures off've lisa's blog
pw buntin and pw catanese: another two (OOG) authors with the initials

Laughing yeah i know, he is definitely OOG
but he was called PW.

It's so demoralizing that we can't use PW, culehuet, desertdiaries, Angela Clinton etc.

we can use them fine, we just don't know what we're using them for...

i mean, we're supposed to find PW, but we don't know what site(s?) we need to work the password out for to find him
or what documents relate to which passwords
EDIT: and that reminds me, did anyone try and find out what the wierd semi visible text on the lowkey book email was?
none of my image editors can pick it out from the paper Bang Head

I've been at the culehuet file again - it never occurred to me before that the numbers underneath the text are most probably dates...

So... January 28, 19(?)46 - September 9, 2009?

Gives me a difference of 23,235 days. What a curious number... Foily!

Hi Trillian, yeah I was just looking at this and I'm basically positive its a special cover edition of Neil Gaiman's "The Absolute Sandman, Vol. 2". I haven't found the exact cover, but I scaled the key from your screeny to the cover that I linked & its an exact match. I'm bored so I attached the layered image below...

yes we did. we think that she took another paper under the mail to get a better picture to publish. This is the second picture of the mail and it was taken on our request because the mail was hard to read on the first pic.
