Question to the native speakers: can we be sure that PW talks about 'Scions' or could it also be 'Zions' or 'Sions'?

I don't know if I classify as a native speaker but I think I'm close enough Wink
I don't know how to spell it from the spoken word, but as for the meaning, it is unlikely to be Zion (as in from the scriptures Zion the city, the pure in heart).

As for Scion, well, the dictionary explains it like this:
scion |ˈsīən|
noun
1 (also cion) a young shoot or twig of a plant, esp. one cut for grafting or rooting.
2 a descendant of a notable family or one with a long lineage : he was the scion of a wealthy family.
ORIGIN Middle English : from Old French ciun 'shoot, twig,' of unknown origin.

Perhaps symbolically, the scion are an "off-shoot" of the Arc/Anios; a notable descendant...

When the group first walk in, P-Dub makes mention that he was expecting 9 people. Even after he only sees five, he still knows to expect another, excusing his first assumption with "Sorry, I thought it was another time."

Either this has happened before, or he's a time traveler, or he's psychic. He also appears to know them by name, and know some of their history.

Also, anyone else notice Cats and Nova?

Anyone know if the "Fourth Avenue Library" is IG? I tried searching for it, but only found an old library that used to be called 4th Ave...but nothing in the present...(or future for the matter!)

 		I love traditions...
The Preamble
It has become a common and well-loved tradition (at least for me!) to use the time between updates to discuss the more...esoteric...aspects of this addictive-yet-frustrating ARG/WebSeries.

The Background
I have previously mentioned this and no one seemed to (a) understand what I was talking about Razz , and (b) interested in it anyway Rolling Eyes . So I figure now is a good time to discuss such weighty matters that have no clear relevance to the plot yet. Wink

The Curiosity
If you look at the intro splash for all the webisodes, there is a time (approx) 1 second, when the word "ennead" is in white on a black background. From the black background appears a design and then disappears.

The (Old) Observation (well, really old now)
You will find it on Episode 13 at time 1:10-1:11 (approx). I am wondering what this might be. At first glance it looks a little like the crystal ship that Superman came to earth in! Rolling Eyes But on closer inspection, the pikes seem to be tops of buildings (some of them famous).

The Question
Does anyone recognise any of the buildings in particular or the whole design in general?

I really like your ideas and I do know what you're talking about - at least most of the time, apart from the chemical stuff, the biological explanations and DNA thingy, your astronomy posts, ... Wink - it's just that I'm too lazy to post "I don't know" all the time! Laughing

Episode 14 is up. Don't have time to watch now.

ETA: but i watched a bit anyway!
The first 2 mins are the same as the last 2 mins of episode 13. Either we missed something or they want to extend the episode.
Entertaining the idea that we might have missed something:

Does anyone know which psychiatric facility is being referred to when Nova says "in the basement of an old insane asylum"? I wonder if that's where they're keeping Michael

ETA2:
OK so I watched the whole thing! So the first three were poly, uturn and teeth (probably in that order as teeth is asking the others questions about how it works, and poly is the finder so she probably came first). Also, poly "Lucian thinks one of them might have temporal control" (Likely Princess) Oh, and the dude in the library needs therapy! Rolling Eyes

I agree, Michael is being held where the Ennead were to begin with. Also, I reckon that Michael is the one with the Time powers, as evidenced by him showing up in PandoraLee's videos and photos. I think he came back to see her on that day. Just a theory. Wink
