I am pretty sure the last one is correct since

 		XD I am such a jackass! Same end result, but stupidity on my part for not seeing the phonetic jumping out at me hehehe oh lord I am slow today... So I guess the Vancouver coord is probably what we are being pointed towards.

Looks like my pdf-viewer (don't know its name, it's just the standard Ubuntu program) handles things differently than yours. Here's a screenshot of what I get:

I had a look at the picture from Lisa's blog.

I opened the file with a hex-editor and found some text at the end of the file:

pw.txtMr. PW is taking credit for something that he didn't write. He's getting the story, are you?

Later I thought of running stegdetect which says the picture is stegged with jphide. I think that I accidentally got the hidden information by simply looking at the source. Embarassed Laughing


WHOOT! Reasonableman! That's awesome!


ETA: If somebody wants to inform Lisa go ahead! I need some sleep.

Hi everyone,

I just spent pretty much my whole day reading through the posts, websites and watching movies. (phew!) I'd love to jump in if I may. I'm still pretty green at all this but I promise not to clutter the message boards and only post when I think I've found something worthwhile. I'll do my best to contribute whatever I can.

Apparently episode 5 was uploaded earlier today and got 305 views in the short period of time before it was made private. I guess they'll make it public again in about 7 hours.

I had access to a Windows machine today and played around with the jpg.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
1. I found out that you simply have to rename the image in pw.txt and open it with Notepad to read the message I found yesterday.

2. I also stegged some jpg-files with jphide (with and without password) and opened them the same way, but wasn't able to read the message I hid in them. (Which makes much more sense.)

I'm now thinking that I was wrong - Embarassed sorry! - and that the message within pw.jpg isn't the "hidden" text but was placed there as a hint to find the password. It that possible? Does anybody know if there's software/a method to place plaintext in a (jpg-)file-source?



I'm still wondering if the guy in the picture is IG, or if he's some real-world celebrity I should recognize.

@Trillian: Thank you for the info & the text solve(s) as well Cool. And I was wondering the exact same thing you were wondering above (I fiddled around the same way you did and currently do not know the answer).

Quick note on Ep 05: while Lucian is talking to Princess, he indirectly indicates:

This "P.W." man, who appears to be an author claiming credit for something he didn't write, is most likely an in-game character, which means we might not know anything more until the next episode, video, or blog post. Also, Lisa just basically told us to wait for the next clue.

By the way, has anyone visited the co-ordinates 49°17'25.58" N 123°1'44.85" W yet?

 		Since we have no person in Vancouver we probably should ask Lisa if she can check out the location.

Or does somebody know people in Vancouver. Having players looking a the drop is probably much more fun.

 		Was looking around Diocletian's Court, and I just noticed that the first person to comment on the very first post is "Nick Carraway".

Nick Carraway is the name of the bloke who "narrates" the story in The Great Gatsby. These guys seem to really like this book. Perhaps there's more clues in it. Anybody actually read it before?
