A hint to people wanting to decode Sam's tweets and videos, plus my responses:

Have you been able to determine what TheFlainlings are saying in their videos?

I haven't, actually. I'm assuming right now that we're not intended to, seeing as Sam said in one of his other videos that that's how we sound to them, that's why videos are safe.

Pretty sure the descriptions on the videos give you a basic idea of the intention, though.

I haven't been following it very closely, but I remember someone saying The Shadow Gang stopped tweeting, Mr. Hatchet was doing his Hatchety things and then a new Twitter feed appeared. I'm pretty sure that's where I'd seen "the flainlings" before. I could be wrong though. Since Strudel hasn't appeared on that feed at all I'm guessing I am. Sorry to confuse. ^^;

Note: Sam has not directly responded to either of my videos as of yet, although the Flainlings video does answer my third video in a way.

I've been e-mailing Sam (samuelsleetoSPLAThotmail.com, taken from a qr code in his twitter and so far I haven't got much more information to add that is not already known. he's still asking for videos so that he can see how many people are supporting him. He also said that he'd "been very busy of late"

So far all of the conversation has been through Rot-13. But now he's changed code and my last e-mail read -

EDIT: Once again someone friendly pointed me in the right direction to decipher this code. It turns out that Sam has gone into hiding until Tuesday leaving his friend, Jared to man his facebook account. Also the Flainlings issued a warning via twitter - "It truly does not matter what we want anymore because the more you humans defy us, the more we will come to stop destroy you!" (I think the use of the word stop is a mistake, I take it to mean that the flainlings are coming to destroy humanity.... although I have tweeted them back for clarification.....)
