Well, in #5, all the numbers are cloned.
And it's filled out incorrectly. The middle row cannot be solved - the 2 won't work in any of the 3 open positions, for one.

So I don't think it's about the solving of the sudoku's, but somehow a combination of all of the sudokus' numbers that creates the coded message.

Yup

Yeah - it looks like it was another code thing - they broke it down(I think) on another site already...

http://www3.telus.net/tw6/gareth/qr3.gif

Which translates to Indus:13-06

yeah, caught that just now...
not sure how they created the QRcode though. There are 6 sudokus...

eta: never mind. The QR Code has three standard square blocks in three corners. The 6 sudokus together fill in the rest of the QR Code (numbers don't matter, just whether the square has a number or not).

They used a different Romulan font for the Countdown comic... I tried to translate all the names in the star charts there... but only Hobus and Romulus make sense.

No the sudokus were a trap, you had to take them all and make a QR out of them.

Shouldn't it be (by logical deduction) Indus:06-13 and not Indus:13-06?

It should be but it's not. APUS:01-05= -04, CHAMAELEON:13-23= -10, INDUS:13-06= +07?

# PHPChatUser5: Just be ready, both of you, I'll have your locations by Saturday - Fe, yours will likely be near the museum right by you with the rusty towers. "Al", the other is on the eastern side of Berlin, by a derelict building in Mitte. I'll need you to go the next day AT the time I give! Look for me in one of our spots. Also, I'm handling Sargash.

This last comunication seems to be indicating a date (something's going down saturday) but also a location - Berlin (a building in Mitte, wich according to wikipedia is a place with lots a tourist sites). Could "another" deaddrop be happening?

seems like there's 2 locations, including mitte, berlin, and a unknown place with a museum near "rusty towers" - since this is Fe's location (and he speaks spanish), - not to mention that as Al speaks german and his location is in berlin - this could possibly be somewhere in spain or another location (mexico, or brazil?)

I think I found the location in Spain they are talking about.

Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid
http://www.sitebits.com/images/photo/reina-sofia-madrid-1.jpg

Looks to be two large rusty towers and another two smaller ones.

Btw, Brazilian's official language is Portuguese not Spanish, although it is a common mistake to make.

Possibly ones for Germany location are:

The Reichstag
Franziskaner-Klosterkirche
Kunsthaus Tacheles

Obviously these are just wild guessed based on the vague clues, probably be something completely different Embarassed

You can find a high-res picture of the still unsolved romulan riddle here:
