Olorin,
I knocked up an entry for the You May Need to Wait puzzle, but rather than create a whole new page like a noob, what I actually had meant to do was add it to the Puzzles section. I can't seem to work out how to edit the Puzzles page though, I'm not seeing the "Edit" button at the bottom.

Great work on the wiki by the way, it looks like it was a lot of work getting the timeline down.

The list of puzzles ( http://argensoft.wikidot.com/system:list-puzzles ) is automatically generated. Any page in the 'puzzle' category (which means any page whose name start with "puzzle:" like "puzzle:feed-me" or "puzzle-cadie-code-1") will appear tin this listing page.

I think it is actually better to have separate pages for each puzzle, so that people can read the details on a per-puzzle basis instead of having an infintely long page.
So I'm totally happy with the "You May Need to Wait" page you created at http://argensoft.wikidot.com/you-may-need-to-wait.

To add links to it from the timeline you should be able to just edit the timeline page and add something like

+ May 6
++ [[[you-may-need-to-wait|You May Need To Wait Puzzle]]]

Don't worry too much about the overall structure of the site (e.g.: should this page be in a category or not, etc etc): when I have time I go through old and new pages to take care of that sort of stuff.

If you can add links to the timeline page that definitely helps a lot so that I'm sure I don't end up missing any event as I update the site.

Thanks for contributing!

There's also a way to make tabs for an individual page. If you want the code, give me a shout and I'll edit the CSS for the wiki.

Yeah I'll yell if needed. There's also a module to do tabs without changing the css itself - at least for tabs within a single page.

All feedback and ideas on how the overall structure of the wiki could work beest is, of course, greatly appreciated. Everyone should feel free to grab a page and try different things if they want - or just create a sandbox page (or more than one if you need) and try out stuff.

I tried to reply to Nadia's email from yesterday, but it was rejected. Can someone try to email Donovan and see if his email address still works?

Got a reply from Donovan:
Quote:

Yes, I'm fine. You saved my life... again!

I got there at 5:45 PM (CST) and knocked on the door. Suddenly, someone started frantically turning the doorknob, but it was locked. Then they cursed and started firing gunshots at me through the door. I ducked, ran back to my car, and got out of there! I've been resting until now.

..perhaps we locked the hitmen *inside* ? Ah, but if Argensoft is behind this attempt on Donovan's life they wouldn't deliver them to the cops Sad

I think the major questions I have right now is WHY is Argensoft trying to get them?

They didn't know that CADIE was self-aware until we told them, so what do they know that's such a threat to her?

Agreed. Personally I think ArgenSoft is going after them because the tech guy that disappeared (Jonas?) contacted Donovan, and Donovan clearly has been in touch with Nadia.
It doesn't make too much sense to me that Argensoft would know who they all talked to without knowing what they talked about or what information they shared.

Either Donovan hasn't told us the whole story, or argensoft+anipanda (I'm going to start using anipanda instead of CADIE, since CADIE is Google's intellectual property imho).. or argensoft+anipanda are being dumb in going after people that cannot leak any serious information.

Well.. pass the popcorns, we shall see what happens next Smile

My guess is that there is no boss in Argensoft, and maybe it's really run by anipanda. In that case, argensoft and anipanda are the same thing. Maybe Johan found out about this, and he was "silenced". Now Donovan and Nadia are suspecting things (thanks to us, actually Razz), so maybe they are to be silenced too.
What I don't really understand is who is giving us the clues. Anipanda's good side? A side not yet infected by that Tesla CTX virus? Or is it just typical megalomania that keeps telling us its master plan?

Twitter from scipio26:

Just a sequence fo numbers on the page:
Quote:

1.3.1/1.3.2/1.3.3 1.4.1/1.4.2/1.4.3 1.5.1/2.2.3/2.3.6/6.1.3/8.2.3 1.7.1/1.7.2/1.7.3_3.2.2/2.5.3/3.25/4.5.7/4.8.4/8.12.5/8.12.6

..possible book.chapter.verse references ? I'd suggest the divine comedy but it has 3 main 'books' so things like "8.2.3" don't fit...

hmm also I wonder how oscys.html might be a hint. No apparent hits on "oscys" per-se

Hmm, could oscys be an abbreviation for something? The only thing that popped in my head was The Star Spangled Banner (Oh Say Can You See.... ), heh, I'm pretty sure that's not it though! Smile

So, assuming the groups of numbers are letters and assuming the spaces differentiate each word we have:-

1.3.1/1.3.2/1.3.3

1.4.1/1.4.2/1.4.3

1.5.1/2.2.3/2.3.6/6.1.3/8.2.3

1.7.1/1.7.2/1.7.3_3.2.2/2.5.3/3.25/4.5.7/4.8.4/8.12.5/8.12.6 (note that what would be the 6th character is "3.25", rather than in the n.n.n format that the others were, I guess it's possibly a typo, but who knows)

EDIT - [Off topic]- By a spooky coincidence, having just done an internet search for abbreviations for OSCYS, the second link that appeared was a discussion about possible memorable passwords for computers and reads:
Quote:

For example you could use OSCYS, which is the first letter of each word in the line "Oh Say Can You See." This makes passwords easier to remember, ...

...but otherwise there's nothing coming up

The sixth episode of BSG's third season maybe? If that's the case, it's called "Torn" according to the wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Battlestar_Galactica_(re-imagined_series)_episodes#Season_3
