You can order from the US Amazon, although it'll be expensive to ship. Also Buy.com, many others. I'm sure there are already some on ebay.

Hand Cutting

From what I understand of it, Smith was cutting himself because he'd never been "real" before. Think about it. You're a computer program. You know that you're a computer program, and then you get the opportunity to download into a livng, flesh-and-blood body. I think Smith-Bane was just a little shell-shocked at the idea and was trying to deal with it. Trying to figure out if he was now really real.

And he was trying to kill Neo. That's been Smith's intention all along, even in The Matrix. Having him try to infect Neo through his blood would be 1) too complicated for the audience to understand, and 2) there's no precedent within the story to suggest that's possible.

Anyhoo, that's how I see it.

If this doesn't make sense to you, may I suggest a great piece of fiction to read: Neal Stephenson's Snow Crash. An important concept in this book is a metavirus, a piece of self-replicating code (binary or DNA) with both digital and biological manifestations that can disrupt the regular function of digital or biological systems.

Loved that book. Didn't understand most of it, however, and kind of disliked the ending. A fun read, however.

Or is it Morpheus residual self that doesn't match with the real world?

The guy that survived at the end is bane. well its bane's body, but smith took over his body in the Matrix, then picked up the phone and got uploaded into banes brain, so its Smith-Bane.

He will be a major part of revolutions :/

Smith got Banes Brain in Vain but can Bane's Brain be sane?

Well, inane brains in pain can be trained to abstain from vain gain.

Remember you'll also need a region 1 encoded DVD player if you order from the USA or a hacked player that plays any region. But since it's already on DVD check kazaa it'll be there in no time, watch the divX version now and then buy it when it comes out in your country.

www.amazon.co.uk would be the best thing to do if you live in France, they ship quite cheap and the region 2 version. Odd though, this late release. In Holland it (R2) was released october 10th, which was even before it got released in the U.S. as I understand.

Jumping back a bit... I just watched Reloaded last night... after playing Enter the Matrix for about 2 hours, and before that, doing this all day...

But I digress...

Notice when they go visit the Merov, the floor they get off on is the 101st floor. From memory, in M1 Neo lives in room 101...

Just another... coincidence... (?)... that might shed light on something further on up the road...

I think it's a subtle hint to George Orwell's 1984. The 'Big Brother is Watching you' principle of 1984 is actually quite easy to match with the Matrix and it's storyline... probably nothing more to it, but who knows...

So Neo is out to save the world through the power of love... and Smith represents the other side of that coin? Pain, Anger and Hate?

Sure. Very Happy Me thinks Smith represents the bad side of humanity. Remember his speech in M1? Humanity is a virus and all that - exactly what he is now. The speech showed all the negative aspects of humanity, it's all that he was able to see. Hugely ironic, yes, but also very symbolic...in Rev, we'll see the good and evil inherent in humanity battling it out while the world of illusions collapses all around...wow, that was a nice line. lol, I just had a "whoa" sort of moment...that's why I love these movies, they are so easily open to beautiful interpretations like that. And, in that climatic fight, which side will win? Well, neither, I don't think, that'd be impossible, wouldn't it?

Ah... suddenly, something I noticed from the first (?) trailer for Revolutions makes sense. When Neo and Smith run at each other full speed and punch each other, has anyone else noticed that they both go flying backward? It's almost as if they're magnets with an opposite charge, that can't touch each other....
