I'm in too. For me I think the mail verification worked, got a message, that it had been received.

XaRen only said he received verification, which I did, too, but not email verification. Just that on-screen message saying "Your submission has been received. The Mosaic Collective is dedicated to connecting the world one experience at a time." Is that what you were referring to, XaRen?

Put in 'coffin' and my email. Was accepted no problem but the form DID switch my " and @ buttons oddly enough, so check that before hitting enter. I'm sure you're not that daft but thought I'd point it out in case Razz

I did five different words relating to each of the five clips.
It gave me that message for each.
Also, for kicks, I put all the answers in one box, spaced apart.

I received that same message, once again.
I have not received an email as of yet.

So the page is broken or what?

After seeing a total of 5 commercials, which included:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
a fetus, children, marriage, surfing, and a casket

I entered "saw life flash before my eyes". Hope this goes somewhere.

I've been obsessing ver this since I saw it last night too. Smile I found the mosaic collective website the same way as spaceboy. Here's my thoughts:

Hmm... upon analyzing the short videos, it almost appears to be a timeline of an average human's life, simply out of order. Put into order, an average person's life could be seen like this:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Birth (fetus), School(children leaving school), The carefree adventures of Young adulthood (surfing), Marriage and Death.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but it's a pretty big coincidence. Perhaps the form at www.themosaiccollective.com isn't looking for one of these answers... maybe it's looking for the culmination of what they all mean together.

I've tried "Life", "Death", "Life's a bitch and then you die", "The American Dream", "Death and Taxes", "Life flashing before my eyes" and some more random sentences. No email returned though. It's probably just a timed thing where we will receive replies after a certain amount of time (after next week's Lost, perhaps?). Any other ideas?

Also: Viewing the source of the website reveals no oddities. I did notice an odd looking symbol that I at first thought was just an "expand handle" in the bottom right hand corner of the "ANSWER HERE" text box, but upon closer examination, it appears to be something else entirely. I just can't make out what it is. I've attached a zoomed image. I cant tell, but it almost looks like an "S". Then again... it could just be some JPG artifacts[/spoiler]

That looks like an arrow I think but it doesn't do anything.

I really hope I don't get an email back per entry, lol

I'm wondering if the 'confirmation' message is a puzzle in and of itself.
Most likely it's a timed thing like someone said.

But I find it odd all five clips are in different spots on the screen, to be honest.

Having not even ordered the show yet (they've only got a pilot), I suspect ABC is mainly using this to generate buzz. I may be wrong, but it's a bit early to throw us a full-fledged game. I expect we'll see e-mail replies closer to the airing of the pilot.

I sent my responses in, as well, so, we'll see what happens. I'm still not convinced this show can really go anywhere without peetering out. Then again, they said that about LOST back in the day, and look where it is now. I'll have to check the book out, too. Sound kinda interesting. Wink

Yeah, the request fits in with the plot of Flash Forward. I think the idea isn't necessarily to describe what the commercials showed, but to get creative with what you might see. Details about the pilot beneath the cut.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
In the pilot episode, everyone on the planet simultaneously blacks out for 157 seconds: almost everyone witnesses what they'd be doing approximately six months in the future. The Mosaic Collective is an FBI taskforce charged with collecting these stories to find out what the heck is going on.

Most of this was gleaned from a review of the pilot a friend posted. Haven't read the book yet, but the premise sounds ridiculously awesome.

Anyone think it might be a new Abrams-connected project? Especially with LOST ending after the next season. I'm sure ABC jumped on whatever the LOST-team might've pitched, if it is indeed the same people.

Abrams next project is Stephen King's "The Dark Tower"

Omg that's pretty much what I was going to put! "My life flash before my eyes"
