Ah, cool. Knew about Marcie, didn't know about Oscar.

Random thoughts...
What if us playing this experience was a kind of flashforward itself? wonder if they'll implement some of the player community input into the show =) this is based on the premise that Oscar's first appearance in the show could be from where we left off with his story, meaning on the show, everything we did with him would be actual history for the character. Maybe they'll mention Comic-Con along with the Collective's website and public FF collection initiative. Razz

anyway...

Thebruce, you better get your SAG card filled out. Wink

I'm wondering if truthhack and this extended experience will continue on through the show, or if it's done, for now at least. Everything's pretty much wrapped up, except who the Mystery man is, and where Oscar is.
Mystery man = man in the surveillance perhaps?

I didn't say it as much in a message but I did integrate something in my "bus lines map" above. "Puzzle End" is what the web-page info says regarding the last part of the ARG so this might be the end indeed. It's been fun if it is the end and if it isn't, it'll be more fun later.

I think we are just supposed to take the Easter eggs (the two ads/coupons), the nursery rhyme and the photo and look for them to be integrated in future episodes. I think we'll see the photo pretty fast (in either the next episode or two) and the nursery rhyme in a school playground (Benford's daughter singing "we all fall down"?).

As for the mystery man, the game is over for him for certain, hee. I revise a previous comment that the 5 second clip might have been Oscar, as it is now clear that the mystery man was filming a room possibly belonging to another group (Simon's or another clandestine outfit). For now I'm going to stick with the idea that the "DenMo" bus line is an arrow pointing straight at SLC, Utah.

My guess is that Noh will alter his future and miss his appointment with his assassin, but it will not all come out good news.

Guide?

So, after watching the show and skimming the first 11 pages of the thread, I really need to ask: is a guide created yet? Any sort of aggregation of everything that has happened up to the premiere? I haven't played a game in forever, but this might be the one for me...

I'd love to set up a wiki/guide, if we knew if this component would be continuing throughout the show... otherwise, I'm sure some of the FF fan sites have all the info also documented.
Not sure of a self-contained guide/link hub though... afaik, the first portion of it all was also just videos, interviews, and building up for more interaction and puzzles.

But yes, a general outline of events I think would be very good...
Is there anyone here who'd volunteer to help populate/maintain a wiki and/or write a guide?

LouMac, while I'm still new at ARG'ing, I at least have a somewhat chaotic "diary" of my adventures at a fansite I help with.

Not all of it is fully "lurkable" but we don't spam you if you join, hee.

http://z6.invisionfree.com/Flash_Forward_Mosaic/index.php?

There is an easily found section of my trip down this particular rabbit hole.

For all here to enjoy, those of us that are here now can enjoy the full context of this grab from the preview of episode 1x02, "White to Play."
It seems the computer towers were immersed as I thought and now we see there is more than one "fish tank" to see. It's easy to notice the 2:17 clock at the top. I would have preferred it as displaying in seconds. The POV of the 5-second clip is about where the person is at.

Well it looks like there is nothing else here to do. Except perhaps trail Oscar and discover Mystery Man. Even though the game is over, I still think that clues to the show's theme will be introduced by Oscar on his site. Aw well it is fun..thanks to all.
One more thing...mentioned on Tv overmind

Hi folks, I've been following you all on here from the start almost, couldn't join in as a lot of the videos wouldn't play for me here in uk, also some of the puzzles were way over my head, lol, I'm still new.

Anyway i was reading a review on FF in a paper today and it said that in the show a character sets up a website to collect peoples visions, do you think this mean that some of the stuff from here may get incorporated in to the show? now that would be cool. Props to the work you all done it's been a good read....

Not sure if this has fully ended. Yeah the puzzle pic was titled with 'end' but that may just be in reference to that puzzle alone. There certainly are questions remaining in Oscar's story. The future integration of Marcie and Oscar paired with the fact that this has been cannon to the show bodes well for some official closure on Oscar's fate.

I've mailed Oscar through the 'Contact Oscar' link on TruthHack.
Quote:
Oscar,

A loyal reader and amateur TruthHacker here. I have followed with great interest your latest investigation into the GBO.

But I have become worried about your current condition. Recent developments tied to your activities suggest that you are in mortal danger.

If you are able to contact me, please do so. I will pass on any message to whomever you wish and offer now any assistance that I may provide.

You need only to ask,
Apo

We'll see if anything comes of it...

Well, I searched the forums and no one seems to have mentioned it so far, so here you go:

Flash Forward Experience

Link it to your FaceBook.

You're welcome.

Summer fun, thanks for the tip. I'll take a look-see. Regarding the Mystery Man, isn't he (literally) at a dead-end?

Your welcome. The Utah thing is no longer a spoiler. It says it right on ABC/flash forward that they are going to Utah.
Also ABC released these sneak peeks.
