 Card Trading Whitelist
And from evil shall come good

This thread has risen from this one of avonpaintballs.

So...you've been happily trading for a while, somebody sends you a card that has particularly lovingly wrapped and you want to heap praise upon them. Where can you do this? Right here! Of course, you should continue to rate them through the excellent www.Perplexcitytrades.com , but for when they've made that extra effort. Lovingly Lavish them below.

We want to elevate the good guys, not denigrate the bad ones Wink

The most memorable trading experience I had was with a guy named Mike (onejedi15 on PXCT). Not only does Mike live in the same state as me, but we also share a love of paintball. Mike found my profile on Trades while looking for some silver cards, and noticed 'paintball' in my username, so he sent me an email looking to trade some gear for one of my silvers. Unfortunately I was quite happy with my current collection of paintball equipment, so I turned down the offer, and we sent some emails back and forth discussing his company's (Pevs/Cousins Paintball) scenario game that would be held in a few months.

A few weeks later, Mike had a spare silver card that I needed, so we set up a trade. The problem was that the spare silver card I had for him was still in the mail from another trader. Mike had no problem waiting for another week to get the card. When I got the card from him later that week I was lost for words. Mike had tucked it away in a DVD case along with a movie of last years Pevs'/Cousins' scenario game in Long Island; An extremely generous gift. I couldn't thank him enough.

Mike currently only needs 3 cards, so the chances of trading with him are slim, but if you get the opportunity; Take it!

Evil Genius.

Always prompt, always in good condition, always what we said he'd send. Highly trustworthy, no question.

adaml43420 is one hell of a trader. I found his profile while trying to get rid of some spare black cards, and was amazed to see all the silver cards he was offering. Normally, when I see that many spare silvers, my bullcrap meter goes crazy, but he also had the last black card I needed, so I sent him a trade offer for a simple black-black trade. He responded by agreeing to my offer, and continued to offer me 7 silver cards at a very reasonable price. I was sure that I was going to mail this guy a wad of cash and never see the cards, but it was worth the risk. A few weeks later, a package arrived in the mail, and there the cards were: In perfect condition. If you are still struggling in the hunt for silver cards, seek Adam out. It'll be worth it.

perplexor77 and I have had 2 successful trades in the past that have gone especially well. Today, I got a package from her in the mail concluding our third trade, and I was curious as to why it was so heavy. When I opened it up, not only were the cards promised to me inside, but there was also a brand new Viard CD! I was shocked by the generosity of this gift. What an excellent item to include in a trade. Thank you so much perplexor!

With the Trades site down, it's very difficult to get a good PXC trade going. However, that's not the case with pineapplejelly. We just wrapped up a flawless international black card trade. The cards I received were wrapped with care and came through the mail at record speeds. The envelope even smelled like pineapple jelly!

Thanks pineapplejelly! I hope we can trade again soon!

well, trading may not seem that hard. What seems to be hard is the strategy needed for a business to succeed.
