When you match up the numbers to the corresponding letters of the alphabet, you get the word APOLLO.

ETA: I don't know how that can be applied. It's ironic, because my Twitter icon is Bill Adama. Laughing

But this could refer to the Greek Apollo, a god, or it could refer to the NASA missions. I'm leaning towards the NASA missions at the moment.

Given the location (Mediterranean), we shouldn't rule out some Greek story, or Atlantean for that matter. The ancient Biblical name of the blog makes me think this one might go backward in time. Were any of the Apollo craft lost in some special way?

zehaeva -- I noticed the amazon thing as well as the weirdly vague descriptions. As someone with a degree in theoretical and quantum chemistry, I asked about photons, what their testing methodology was . . . and I'm expecting to be mildly disappointed if they can't/won't follow through. We both know that Denmark is an auspicious place to embark on an ARG regarding quantum physics (Heisenberg jumps to mind) . . . I wonder where this will go, and if it will dive immediately into space science or the supernatural.

I am convinced the background on Domenico's twitter is NOT apollo at delphi. It is an archeology site of some sort, and I am leaving towards one of the israel sites, such as Tel Arad or Tel Be'er Sheva, sadly I don't think either of those are it. Perhaps even a site with a biblical connection. (given Ya'aqov i'd say its likely... dead sea anyone?)

There are several reasons I think this. Lack of columns that might indicate greco-roman or Mediterranean sites, lack of visible grass trees shrubs, hill in the background appears to be a sand-dune. I've so far look at sites in israel but those which are big enough to have a picture taken of like this lack the hill. The stone-work and layouts however are similar.

I have tried several different google searches (so many i cant remember) and I have yet to find this particular photo. Sad

Where did Ya'akov go in Israel? Is there any connection with a Temple of Apollo that was once something else? Questions in my mind.

Running a search on the term "Ya'akov" is impossible, far too many results. "Ya'akov archeology" returns a few different archeologists and at least one photography, all of which are real people so far as I can tell.

I've moved on to checking sites in Iran and Egypt with no luck and no matches to that background image.

Side note: I wonder what the Kanji Domenico is using as his icon says, it looks awfully familiar to me, I will have to check with one of my friends tomrrow.

For now, my brain is fuzzy and I'm sick...

Ya'akov is just a name?, Archeological reference, reference to Israel or biblical? Apollo: nasa, place, or god? Possible greek/roman referance.
Any archeology sites either in the Mediterranean that can be linked back to biblical, or in the biblical area that are greco-roman? Archeology + Science; interesting.

Are the choices of background and avatar images deliberate?
So far we have a archeological site, and a kanji for domenico who's (in or from denmark)? and a light-art background and geometric-design (which looks familiar) for an avatar for Lloyd who's (in or from california?)
