Ya'akov is just a name?
I think this was mentioned already, but Ya'akov is Hebrew for Jacob, as in the son of Isaac who went on to take Esau's birth right and was renamed Israel after wrestling with God. He was also father of the 12 tribes of Israel.
Sorry if I'm just repeating, but without more context when Ya'akov is thrown out it is typically referring to this Jacob.

Side note: I wonder what the Kanji Domenico is using as his icon says, it looks awfully familiar to me...
The Kanji means: LUCK

Hey Psy.
Also, just watching for now. This hasn't really caught my eye yet.

Has anyone considered that the picture in DRogmanosi's Twitter page might not be real? That it might be a fantastical render of some pseudo-legitimate archeological site on another planetary surface, say, Mars. Or moon, as in Apollo Moon Landing? I find the waiting a little tedious for updates.

Nice to finally join the fora here. I think I might have an idea, so please bear with me.
Lloyd mentions someone called "Casimir." I think that this may have something to do with the Casimir Effect.
The Casimir Effect is is outlined here much better than I could ever put it.
Food for thought, anyway.
EDIT: Found this in an article about Faster Than Light travel and communications. My emphasis is added.
"The Casimir Effect describes the fact that a very small but measurable force exists between two uncharged conducting plates when they are very close together. It is due to the existence of vacuum energy (see the FAQ article on the Casimir Effect). A surprising calculation by Scharnhorst suggests that photons travelling across the gap between the plates in the Casimir Effect must go faster than c by a very very small amount (at best 1 part in 1024 for a 1 nanometre gap.) It has been suggested that in certain cosmological situations, such as in the vicinity of cosmic strings if they exist, the effect could be much more pronounced. However, further theoretical investigations have shown that, once again, there is no possibility of FTL communication using this effect.

Okay, so with no signs of activity in the past couple days, I've tweeted Dromagnosi asking about Casimir and whether his files have turned up anything interesting. I'm hoping the prompting might get something going, or at least get a reply that tells us to wait. I may not be happy about waiting so long, but at least we'd know if that's what we're supposed to be doing.

Good thinking Esteed, it certainly seems as if we've either missed something or..... well in either regard it would be nice if we knew we're supposed to be waiting for more.

Please forgive me if this has been posted already, but I haven't seen that anyone has mentioned that on the "about" page of the blog it reads:
"Ya'aqov Laboratories was founded in 1964 with one goal: to discover the Higgs boson, the so-called "God particle."

Possible Angels and Demons Connection? On the blog site - the first link to other sites is for CERN. CERN created the anti-matter used in the plot of Angels and Demons.
On the CERN site under images there is "Simulation of a detection of the Higgs boson (nick named the God Particle) in the CMS experimentis" looks like the basis for

Nothing new for a while now. Are we calling this ship sunk?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure this one is dead. He hasn't even said anything on Twitter for a month or so now.
