It looks like the sidebar has been changed. Now instead of linking to the alien text, it links to seemingly random spots on the map. And what could 'Investigate Fertile Crescent' mean?

Technically the "Fertile Crescent" is in the Middle East.

I got another Nintendo Power today, and with it another code. It was "Trust no one," which unlocked a video. I tried the first code I got again, and it was an icon.

If you go to the other game site: http://www.conduitgame.com/index_us.html

Under "Game Information" move the seeing-eye thing over the bulletin board, and you see something written there in that code. I don't know the substitution so I can decipher it.
