AUZ505, it doesn't look like there's a thread for The Wolfbane Project so feel free to make one.

Wow! ok, so the twitter accounts are Wolfbane, except for Richie?
I believe that means our priority for RUAWEREWOLF is hacking into the New Lupine Institute. So here's where we are (sorry to be somewhat redundant, but I think it helps keep things clear for the people just joining. I know that sometimes I get confused when joining a game, even after reading all the pages):
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
http://www.newlupineinstitute.org/, and the page that led us here had the mouse over/source clue :"The misspelled name uses the longest acronym". I've tried a ton of different combos of Ludolf Konig and LKSDL with no luck. Anyone else? Smile Smile

yeah, the initials made me think ARG for some reason... just didn't know where it belonged. Plus, my internet signal is crappy right now. I'm trying to find more.

HAHAHA I didn't even notice that! You're awfully brilliant, you know. So do we move all the Wolfebane stuff to the new thread?

ETA: But of course
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

http://www.newlupineinstitute.org/

works fine

We can get to the website, but don't yet know the user name and password to see the trashed files?

Correct. The clue on the page that led us there makes me think that the sign in is some variation of Ludolf Konig, since his name is spelled differently on the same page (see earlier posts). Also, his research lab has the longest acronym: LKSDL.
There are two places to log in: the secure...morgan...trash page, which we found via the code on "Climbs Ever Upward" (this was the final page in the 'hyatt regency' path puzzle, and it was this page that contained the 'misspelled name longest acronym clue'); and the general 'employee log in' link on the NLI homepage. The former sign in says "the site says '~~~~~~'. Does this mean a 6 spaced sign-in or passcode?

Then where does "Richie" come in?

I'm trying to figure out which posts actually relate to this game.

(I'm thinkin' maybe a mod could take a look and separate the posts?)

Richie is the name attached to this twitter account: http://twitter.com/RUaWerewolf

Richie was also referenced somewhere on the RUaWerewolf site (I forget where), where it said something like, "Now help Richie."

That was from the code on top of this page
http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?mode=attach&id=18205
which translates to
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
'Richie will need your help'

All of that happened on pages 7 and 8 or so. Smile

no worries! It was a bit confusing anyway, and then with the Wolfbane confusion it got wicked muddled! I think it's pretty direct now though: hack into the website for the next step.

I assumed that the login was "morgan" (six letter) and the thing we had to guess was the password.

Anyone else notice the Press Release page is the only page that says "This page is unavailable while we conduct server maintenance." If server maintenance was being run wouldn't all the pages be unavailable?

Edit 1: Konig's full name was Ludolf König von Wattzau (sometimes spelled Weizau).

Creepy but probably not related: one anagram of Ludolf Konig is "Found Go Kill."

Edit 2: I keep finding references in German. For instance; when I look up Ludolf Konig. Also in the copyright on the web site: "Website Contents ©2007 by NLI GmbH." GmbH is the German equivalent of LLC in English. LLC being Limited Liability Company.

Edit 3: (I'm just going to keep adding stuff to this post until there is another below it.) On the sleep disorder page Ludolf's name isn't the only difference. The abbreviation is given as "LKSDL" in one sentence and "LKDSL" in another.
