The Aquapolis: Where the AI begins

So here's my humble take on the Aquapolis: See that lovely picture of jellyfish? They look alot like sentinels don't they? Here's my theory linking all this directly to the Matrix plot- Metacortex develops software for it's VR system in the form of a very advanced AI. This AI is so advanced that they use it in the development and operation of the Aquapolis. This is the "Birth" of AI. In the Matrix movies we see that every machine resembles some form of aquatic life. So if this theory were correct that would coincide with where we're at in the Movies, in that the Matrix is about to recycle itself. I think the whole point of this ARG is to give us the story behind "The birth of AI" and that's my theory on how it pans out. Any takers?

i take, and i gladly admit i think you're wrong.

whereas it could be showing us the birth of AI, we are 100% w/o a doubt in the matrix in this ARG. take things like Cascade Vortex and the floating cat into account

also, not ALL robots are aquatic looking? did you see the animatrix at all??? the one by the people who did Aeon Flux had robots who walked around like scorpions or somethin...

this is leading to something... whether its as small as a cameo appearance by Kid in movie 2 or not, i dont care, but when i see matrix: revolutions, and i get a 5 minute 'THATS INCREDIBLE' feeling that noone else gets(you know what i mean...), i know that all this ARG will be worth it...

This sounds like a sound theory to me maybe thomas anderson is someone who was actually responsible for the birth of AI and the machine's remember this and recreate his life over and over in the matrix maybe the machines hold him as a god like figure and keep respawning him in the matrix????

Lemme explain a little better ecwilder

You're right the Animatrix shows us different types of machines other than Aquatic life. However the primary machines in the movies are based on aquatic life. And I understand that we're already "in" the Matrix. But c'mon what do you think the Architect is talking about in Reloaded? The Matrix recycles itself, ya know Neo is the sixth anamoly.[/quote]
