MetaCorTEX or MetaCorTECHS?

Thoughts?
I do not believe this to be any kind of mistake or coincidence.
Why two versions of the name?

It actualy was a mistake in the first matrix movie. In the interior of the building, the company is called "metacortechs", while on the exterior of the building it is "metacortex". From what I hear the "Metacortex" was a last minute change due to trademark issues.

That's what I've heard too. You can see a screen capture of a scene from the Matrix where there is the Meta Cortechs name on the wall Here.

Yeah yeah I knew about the scenes in the film, I just thought there may be more to it.

For the no-prize: Wink

While MetaCortex is the name of the company (thus the sign on the building), it doesn't seem that far-fetched that the tech support staff (of which Anderson, although a program writer, may work in the general vicinity) may be known as the "Metacortechs", with a sign on the wall identifying their section of the cube farm.

Also, in the less literal sense:
Metacortex - transformation of the brain
MetaCorTechs - transformation with technology

Together - transforming the brain with technology. Cool, huh? I love how that fits together. Mr. Green
