PuppetMasters required for the testing of a new online tool.

Hi all!

I've been posting here lately regarding my development of a game engine which will allow for Puppet Masters to create and then monitor their Alternate Reality Game.

This engine will be able to automatically generate flow charts and timelines for your storylines, and you will be able to access all of your websites via it (using Subversion, most likely).

The engine will require you to program any puzzles that you set the players; and it will then automatically be able to track when those puzzles have been solved, and automatically responds (for example, posting a new blog post).

You will also be able to automatically schedule content updates such as website updates, blog posts etc to occur.

-----
I intend to finish the development of this engine around Easter 2010. In order to test this application I am looking for puppet masters who have experience in creating an Alternate Reality Game to help me with the testing.

There will be two stages of testing.
1) The first will be unit testing - making sure the system works to spec. This will be done by me creating a small-scale ARG.
2) I would like to test the actual benefits this will provide the ARG community, and therefore I am looking for puppetmasters to re-build their Alternate Reality Game using my engine. (It will not be required to be played - although if anyone was looking for a chance to allow their game to be replayed I'm happy to allow that - time permitting).

I understand this is a very early time in the dev process to be asking for help for testing; but I'm kinda testing the water to see if people are willing to help. After all, you're my target audience, I want my program to work for you! Wink

Let me know either way!

Cheers,
Sam

If anyone is interested, I have uploaded some very primitive designs for some aspects of the engine at the following location:

Are you getting any takers? I've been thinking for a while that a good ARG engine was needed.

I've done Web development and beta testing in the past if you want me to test anything for you.

I am developing an ARG set to conclude in 3 years. Could use the tool.
