DrBunker, you're right that we're now on EDT. It seems likely that it's just a tiny error that most of us make from time to time.

Wow, I like the story, I like the writing style. Awesome.
You have already found many LOST allusions, and here are some which weren't mentioned here (but surely noticed by you):

Geronimo Jackson and Magna Carta is very mysterious band, which was many times mentioned in LOST, and LOST writers admitted, it were very rare and unknown old band. But it looks, it exists only in the LOST world (like Driveshaft)

It's Russian movie about Mexican astronomy, where this astronomic tool appears in the intro. Perhaps is this tool not Mexican at all (since in intro appears many old scientific gadgets worldwide, but I'll research in that direction)

~~Do you think the hieroglyphs have any specific relevance? I can't seem to find any matching version of them but that seems odd.~~ Doh, I didn't think before I typed.

Also, no obvious anagrams jump out from the red letters although a commentor on the blog pointed out that it includes "i.theta" leaving C T A T H S. Confused

(as it wasn't mentioned I'll add that the first link from the blank image on the home page is to a "certificate of recognition" for Alexander Berne but this just links straight through to the hieroglyphs)

Edit: I'm not sure if it's worth mentioning but on the Achilles, Hector, Tydeus and Agamemnon pages some of the letters have tiny dots underneath them: T H, I C T, E, I S T

Do recognise some of the hieroglyphs although I can"t see any connection.

#5=plant,#7=single step and #3=loaf. There's more than one hieroglyphic symbol for loaf (bread) yet this one (T) combined with "vulture" also spells THE so maybe an expert will find something in them.

amandel, I realised that they have nothing to do with "real" hieroglyphs, they just relate to one of the letters from Nathaniel and spell wasting. Nothing special there I guess.

No problem. I spent far too long trying to work out what it said before I realised Rolling Eyes

That's enough for me for now. Hopefully when I check back tomorrow things will have moved on again b/c I haven't got a clue what to do with the current puzzles/hints.
