I tried editing the URL string with the -1's in the source code, but it doesn't work. Unless I did it wrong.

Yup, I tried the same thing - even added an ".htm" for good measure. That seemed like the thing to do for sure! Maybe the dashes should be changed to 0's instead... or even dashes themselves?

Thanks Spire... we were working on that page already, trying to figure out what to do with those pesky "-1"s...

#wish27 Anyone think its weird that the first -1 has no space after the / ?? /-1_/ vs all the others that are /_-1_/ .... _ = Space.

I noticed that, and it seems pretty simple... almost TOO simple, if you get my drift. I'm currently suspecting this may be a fake site... but hopefully I'm wrong.

idk. i thought the multiplication was "too simple" but seems like a lot of work to lead to a dead end....

Hrm, wow, it seems legit, based on the process used by "Riddle" and "LOSTFAN88" on the blog.

Looks like they subtracted 1 from the original numbers, *not ignoring the asterisks*... on a phone pad, "subtracting" one from an asterisk gives you the "9" key... which leaves:

893689738362622

which, on a phone, spells out: twentyseven.co.cc

(edited to fix my original interpretation of their solution)

It actually makes sense. If you go back to the original numbers and subtract one where it says to, treating * as 10, then translate the result as if it were on a telephone keypad, you get the url. Not at all simple, really.
